Everything went dark, and Jim suddenly felt cold. He wondered for a moment if this was the end. If he had gotten hit by a car he hadn’t seen or struck by a falling object and this was the result -- the end? It got worse when he saw a bright light. It took him a moment to not panic and come to realize it was a spot light. He wasn’t dead, he was on stage. No, wait, not a stage -- an ice rink. It was clumsy at first, but it seemed this body had a high amount of muscle memory that was starting to take over!
