Is That an Option?

“I still can’t believe your sister and her friends didn’t mind you using that weird device of yours to let us swap bodies with them for the day,” Mark said turning to his friend Yan.

Yan smiled, “How could they possibly mind? They didn’t even know I was going to do it.”

Mark responded with silence, which was quickly broken by Jason bursting into laughter.

“I don’t think they’d ever give me permission. They’re probably all freaking out right now,” Yan added.

“They’re going to kill us when we get back to your place.”

“Doubtful. They’d never harm their own bodies, and we hold all the cards. If they try anything to our bodies, we can just keep these. In fact, hasn’t today been fun? Aren’t you guys hald tempted to keep these bodies regardless?”

“A little more than half!” Jason piped in.

“I mean, yeah, I guess. Is that an option?” Mark asked.

One on One Help

“Miss Carver? Uh, Miss Carver?”

Ryan still wasn’t used to being called by that name. It hadn’t even been a full day since he swapped bodies with his teacher, Miss Carver. So when he heard her name, he didn’t turn around right away.

“I was wondering if you could help me with something, Miss Carver?”

Finally, Ryan turned around. One of his classmates was there. He had faked his way through the lessons today with some notes Miss Carver had left for him, but he was pretty sure he wouldn’t be able to help anyone one on one. It also didn’t help that he could tell the student was clearly gazing at Ryan’s ass. Ryan knew he needed some excuse to get out of there, and he needed to swap back to his own body as soon as possible.

The Farm (Part 2)

As Jack wandered his land, he thought about how good this body felt. He was thinking of never going back to his own body, but then a voice called out.

“Excuse me, Ma’am,” The voice said.

Jack turned around sharply to see his neighbor standing there. “Yes?” Jack asked.

“Couldn’t help but notice you wandering around here. I know Jack’s not to fond of people trespassing.”

“I’m his, uh, cousin. Just visiting for a few days.”

“Well, he never told me he had such an attractive cousin. Would you mind terribly if I bought you dinner tonight.”

Jack wanted to roll his eyes. This was one aspect of being a woman he had no interest in. Plus, he’d have some trouble maintaining his legal assets with this body as well. He’d probably going to have to go back up to the shack sooner rather than later. Then again, one could only guess the limits of that tech up there, and he was ready to experiment with it...

The Farm

Jack had inherited the large farm after the death of his father a few years back. The bulk of the property was farmland with a ranch and a barn at the entrance. There was also a corner with a wooded area and a small shack. He had mostly ignored the woods, and his father’s will even had a cryptic cautionary note about going there, but eventually Jack’s curiosity got the best of him.

The small shack contained vast tech equipment, which was powered by a source Jack couldn’t figure out. He explored one computer and sifted through files with non-descript names eventually stumbling upon an image of a woman amongst them. Then he clicked enter and a bolt of electricity shot out of the machines. Jack was struck and felt pain like he had never known.

And then his body began to change.

Slowly, he transformed into the woman whose image he found on the computer. A new file appeared on the machine, which he guessed contained his image. Jack figured that meant he could turn himself back any time he wanted, so he ventured back out to his fields, curious as to experience being a woman for a while.

Several months passed, and Clifford still hadn’t swapped back to his own body. He guessed no one else from the elevator did either. While he stayed in touch at first, as he adapted to Amanda’s life, he began to see less and less need. He thought he’d have troubles with her job or being a woman, but he seemed to adapt quite easily to both. He certainly loved her paycheck -- it was much higher than his had been as a security guard. The hours were better too.

He did think back to the elevator sometimes. He would wonder just how such an unexplainable even occurred. But as he thought about his new life, he thought that maybe it was just the universe setting something right -- making things how they were truly meant to be. At least the way it seemed for him...
