Reality Changing Game

“My turn again,” Aileen said as she tried to take the remote back.

“But I haven’t guessed yet! It’s supposed to be a game! I used this reality-changing remote to change something about your body; you had to guess what I changed. Then it was your turn, and I had to guess what you changed about me. I get that I lost a few times, so you were about to go again, but I haven’t guessed this round yet!” David protested.

“Well, your time is up, so it’s my turn again.”

“There’s no rules about time limits!”

“Well, we need to set one, because you’ve taken about 30 minutes on this round. I don’t think you’re going to get it.”

Aileen wasn’t sure where David had found this weird remote that could change things about people’s personalities and bodies without them even noticing, but she was loving this game he had asked her to play. He had used the first round to make Aileen bisexual. He thought he was being subtle, but she figured it out almost instantly.

Aileen had played the game a little smarter. The first round she simply made David really, really dumb. This made it impossible for him to reason out any changes to him. Since she won the round, she got to go again. Going for an extreme, she turned him into a woman. She was completely amused that he was still too dumb to figure it out. Getting to go yet again, she made sure he wasn’t just physically a woman, but that he would dress and act like one too! There was no way he was going to figure it out. She only wanted to get control of the remote back for one final change: To convince David to give up this game and retreat to the bedroom.

After about two weeks, Ryan had adjusted quite well to his new body. In fact, when the new remote finally arrived in the mail, he didn’t rush to open it. Instead, he just brought it inside and put it on the kitchen table, then walked outside to go take care of a few errands. He had already decided that he wasn’t going to swap back to his old body...at least not yet. He enjoyed being a beautiful woman, and that sure was something he didn’t want to give up quite yet. It was nice to know that the remote was sitting there waiting for him if he ever changed his mind, but he didn’t see that as very likely at this point. He also figured it might be fun to actually use it with people he trusted. However. he wasn’t going to jump at that any time soon; he knew his current body was quite attractive, and he had trouble thinking of anyone he would actually trust to swap back with him. Still, it was nice to know it was there. Then there was the matter of the other remote he had been forced to send off. He had picked an old friend from college. He wasn’t even sure if had given a current address. And, quite, frankly, he was sure it would be entertaining to see what sort of mess anyone else with a body swapping remote might get into...

It was a waiting game now. Ryan had gone to the website he found in the magazine and ordered the device. The oddest part of the process was that he was required to input two addresses. One was for delivery to him; the other was for a friend. The latter wasn’t optional. He began wondering if this is how he had gotten his own remote in the first place. Had someone else screwed up like he had? Would he even know if they had? It sure seemed the only one aware of any swaps was the person holding the remote. Given all that, once he got a new remote in the mail, would he even want to give this body up? It was a lot to process and a lot to think about...

Despite his initial sense of dread, Ryan decided not to panic. Instead, he thought about his situation rationally. Fashion magazines always had descriptions about where to buy the products worn by the models. If the purse had a line in the magazine before the swap, the remote would probably have one after it. Sure enough, he was right! With a bit of a proud smirk, he closed the magazine and prepared to go the site mentioned in the magazine to buy another bodyswapping remote. But he quickly had pause. He realized that when he swapped bodies, he inadvertently created a world where bodyswapping remotes were common enough to appear in fashion magazined. He could only guess that this meant just about anyone on the street might own one. Then again, he guessed that was always possible, considering how the remote mysteriously arrived at his door in the first place.

Testing...

When Ryan received the package with the remote inside, he was a little skeptical about the note. It said the remote could swap two people’s bodies. Despite his doubts, he wanted to test it. He thought about asking family or friends, but he felt like they would make fun of him for even believing such a thing. Even if he tried to do it spontaneously, if it failed, he’d have to explain why he was waving a remote around them like some sort of weirdo. He came up with an alternate plan. He bought a fashion magazine and brought it home. He flipped through it before settling on an Asian model wearing a casual white t-shirt and leather leggings. He didn’t know why he picked a woman; maybe he thought a woman would be some sort of challenge for the remote. But he wasn’t also sure the remote could swap people using only a picture -- heck, it still wasn’t sure if it could swap people at all -- but he aimed and sure enough, it worked! He marveled at his body for a while before looking for the remote to swap back. Except it wasn’t in the place he swore he had put it down; there was a purse there instead. He dumped the contents out, but he still couldn’t find it. Then he opened up the magazine again. Where the model had once stood was now his body, and instead of the purse that she once held, there was the body swapping remote! He was stuck!

Remotely

The remote had already given Todd hours of entertainment. When he first found it, he had pointed at his girlfriend, and pressed a button. In the oddest of twists, he found himself in her body, and she was in his. She started screaming. Finding a pause button, he managed to freeze her in place. For a while, he was content to keep using the thing to switch people’s bodies, causing a bit of chaos downtown. But when he returned home, things got really interesting. By pressing a few other buttons, he turned his old, small TV into a gigantic new HD model. He was able to upgrade just about everything he owned. He soon realized there was very little this remote couldn’t do. In fact, he was so distracted by the possibilities, he had completely forgotten that he was still in his girlfriend’s body and that she was still frozen in his body upstairs.

Havoc

Chris held the remote gently in his hands. He was actually amazed that it worked. For his first test, he had swapped his own body with a woman he knew named Amanda. He had never actually built up the confidence to talk to her, but he knew who she was. Now he WAS her. But he wasn’t done testing the remote by any means. He developed a smile on his face as he pressed another button, causing his former body to gain 200 pounds -- swapping out twenty pounds each from ten different people around. He swapped his former body’s age with an elderly man. He was nearly breaking out laughing now, seeing his old body overweight and old. It wasn’t until he stepped outside the shop he had been in when he pressed the final button, which made everyone inside aware of the changes he had just made. Many were pleased to be down a little in weight; Amanda was horrified by her new body. All Chris could think of now was how to cause a bit of havoc with this remote elsewhere!

Zapped into an anime

What an odd dream! Brian tried to remember the details of it as he awoke. It started off normally enough. He had been watching TV, eventually settling on an anime. He couldn’t remember what it was about, but the dream got weird when he went to change the channel. His remote had fallen between the couch cushions. He reached in for it, but instead discovered a different remote...a magic one! As he pressed a few buttons, he found himself zapped into the television, becoming one of the busty women in the show. The feeling of being an animated woman was truly strange. He still felt relatively human, but the skin was softer and more perfect than anything he could ever imagine. The colors were much flatter and more uniform than real life. Of course, he still felt a weight on his chest and a void between his legs, but he was a little disappointed when he tried to get a look at them and found they would become pixelated whenever he did so. He didn’t remember much of the dream after that. While it was an exciting experience, it was just a little too weird for him. But as he slowly opened his eyes to the vibrant, flatly colored world, he realized that it hadn’t been a dream at all!

Channel surfing

What the heck was wrong with this remote? Daniel had been trying to use it to flip through the channels for a few minutes now, but the image on the TV remained static. What he hadn’t realized was each time he pressed a button, he would change ever so slightly, becoming more and more feminized. After a few minutes of trying to channel surf, he was a full-on woman would an outfit to match, but he still hadn’t realized the changed to his body.

On the air

Gary never expected the magic remote to actually do anything, but one minute he was on his sofa watching the news and the next he was behind a news desk with his mind now inside the body of the hot anchorwoman. The show’s producers (and certainly the viewers at home) were shocked as Gary just started feeling his new body up. He was so entranced by the remote and its results that it didn’t even occur to him that he might be live on the air.

Brad should have probably seen this coming. He had been transformed into Chun Li, a character from one of the video games he often played, by a magic remote. However, he discovered he hadn’t been the only one. His sister had been transformed to the game’s main villain. Unfortunately, she didn’t maintain her original mind. She caught her brother off-guard and knocked him out. Brad awoke to find himself chained up. He knew her likely plan for him. Much like the game, she’d try to force him to fight. However, he doubted she’d find anyone to match his current skills. And he calculated if he moved just right that he might be able to break free from these chains as well.

Now knowing that using his magic remote to enter video games would work, he thought that he'd try another. What he didn't know was that when he had sat on the remote, he had somewhat broken it. When he tried to use it to enter Street Fighter as Chun Li, instead of being sucked into the game, his body was transformed on the couch...

Brad wasn't sure if he was ready for this, but since the magic remote sucked him into his favorite fighting video game, he was going to have to start his first fight. An opening sequence allowed him to test out his new found agility, so he breathed a sigh of relief that he had some inherent skill in his temporary body. He just knew this was going to hurt. He also wondered how he would get out. The magic remote usually deposited him back on couch at the end of a movie or TV show. A video game wasn't quite so clear cut. Could he lose and end things early, or he have to win to get back home?

Fighting game

Brad had used the magic remote control to enter countless TV shows and movies in the past, but one day while he was playing his favorite video game, he accidentally sat on the remote and got sucked into the game. Now he was inside the Tekken video game inside the body of Zafina. He had really wished that he hadn't been playing a fighting game. Considering that everything felt so real, he wasn't looking forward to the numerous battles he was about to start fighting.
