Soccer Mom

It was the first soccer game of Raul’s college career. He had gotten a small scholarship to be the first in his family to attend university, and his parents were even in the crowd gathered under cloudy skies. Raul had managed to score the only goal by the time the rains came at around the half (not bad for the college freshman), causing a delay. While they waited, a bolt of lightning struck the field causing a phenomenon that had never been recorded before or since -- a mass body swap. Players, referees, coaches, and fans all found them swapped around. Raul ended up in the body of his own mother! He was now around 40 years old and a woman, but he wasn’t going to let either of those deter him. Once the rains cleared, he insisted on continuing to play. The refs discussed canceling the game completely, but enough players were like Raul and insisted going on. Raul realized the odds were against him. The other team mostly swapped with other players (either on the same team or his) and one now had the body of a professional who was in the stands. Despite this, his team pulled off the win. To the top it off, the only other goal scored after everyone was swapped was Raul, despite now being in the body of his own 40-year-old mother.

Back into College

Jeremy nerviously paced in the parking lot waiting for his mom to get out of work. When she finally did, he walked up and handed her a baggie.

“Eat the mushroom in here,” He said, “I’ll eat the other one, and we’ll be back to normal in no time. Or at least that’s what Dirk said should happen.”

His mom seemed rather annoyed, “We still haven’t talked about how you’re buying body swapping drug mushroom drugs, but before we do this, I think we need to talk about something else.”

“Jees, come on, Mom! I don’t think you want to be stuck in my body any longer than I want to be in yours! So just take it; we’ll talk after.”

“No, young man, we’ll talk now. Word gets around, and I’ve heard what you’ve been doing as me.”

“Come on, you said have fun. It was one guy in a bar one time. I was curious!”

“Jeremy...”

“F

ine. It was Mr. Nelson, the dean. But look at you, I mean me. I work at a Burger Shack! He promised to get you, I mean me, back into college if I, I mean, you, your body, slept with him.”

Jeremy’s mom placed the baggie into her pocket. “In that case,” She said, “Your punishment is that I will be taking your classes for you until you graduate!”

“But that’s two more years!”

Fifth Floor

It was the fifth time today that Eric had sludged down to the basement apartment in the building where he lived. “Did you fix the damn thing yet?” Eric grunted at the petite blond woman feverishly working over a pile of circuits and wires.

“You’ll be the first to know, and I’m sorry again! So sorry!”

Eric scowled. Inside that woman’s body was the crazy old man who caused all this three days ago. He had tested some weird invention that swapped the bodies of everyone in the building. The old man lucked out by swapping with Carol, who lived on the third floor and worked as a marketer. Eric wished he would’ve swapped with her, or maybe with Brad, a guy who was a trainer at the gym and lived on six.

But, no, he swapped with Mrs. Neuman, who live on the fifth floor. She was two decades older than he had been (in her 40s) and overweight. It felt really different to move in a body like this, and he had been stuck like this for three days! He was getting pretty impatient with that old guy in the basement. He didn’t want to stay like this a minute longer!

Getting to Know You

I have to admit that I’ve never been a great father. After my ex-wife and I got divorced, I wasn’t around much. I finally tried to contact my son, Derek, once he got to high school, but he didn’t want much to do with me. To start, the kid was a bit of a dork. He was into gaming and Star Trek and all that. It wasn’t like my own high school, which had been mostly filled with football and drinking behind the bleachers.

It wasn’t until late in his senior year when I developed a plan to try to get to know him better. A buddy had stolen a weird magic spell from an odd shop at the mall. You simply receited some words, and you could transform your own body into any form you chose! It seemed like pure fantasy, but, dammit, it worked! After forging papers showing I was 18 and in district then transforming myself, suddenly there was a new senior girl in school!

I know what you’re thinking. A girl? Me? Yeah, it seems out of character, but remember, my son’s a dork. There was no way he had a girlfriend. How could he resist a pretty girl asking him to prom? It seemed easier to get close to him this way than trying to connect as a bro -- the kid had no interest in watching sports anyway!

And it worked! Derek started telling me everything about school and boring D&D games he played and whatnot. I’d transform into “Gwen,” go to school, and transform back to normal. When prom night came, I transformed into Gwen again, complete with a dress (cheaper than buying). We had a great time. All evening Derek was a perfect gentleman, never coming too close when we danced and only giving me a small peck on the cheek at the end of the night. Considering I was his date, this was the first time I was trankful he wasn’t the type of guy I was in high school. He dropped me off (a few blocks from my actual place), and I went to transform back. The only problem? The spell stopped working! Unless I could figure something else out, I was stuck as Gwen!

The Experiment Begins

Something about this seemed off, but Ted had been subject to all sorts of experimental testing for months. When the door to his cell was mysteriously unlocked one day, he decided to take the opportunity to escape. It felt like forever ago when he had been kidnapped from his home and brought to this strange lab. He had been subjected to uncomfortable probes, jabbed by large needles, and asked to perform impossible tasks. He was never able to see the faces of his captors, and right now, he didn’t care. He saw the unlocked door as a rare instance of carelessness on their part, and simply walked out.

He had no way to know (at least not yet), but the door was intentionally unlocked and this was the final test. Ted’s brain had been placed into a different body, a woman’s body, and his captors were eager to see how he would react with in a real world environment. Of course, to ensure he would escape when given the chance, they had activated a chip they had implanted his brain. He wasn’t aware of his new body yet. The chip made him feel like everything was normal. Once he had gotten a safe distance away, they would seal the lab and disable the chip. Then the observation would begin.

Punishment

“What’s going on here? Why did you kidnap me? Is anyone there?” A very scared Keysha screamed out.

“We didn’t kidnap you,” A voice boomed in Keysha’s head, “Your punishment is over, Mr. Jones.”

“Punishment? What punishment? Who is Mr. Jones? I think you have the wrong person.”

“Not at all. You have spent the last year as Keysha Thompson, a persona created by the state. It was a punishment for your hate crimes. We temporarily erased your own memories to experience life on the other side.”

“Hate crimes? Was this Mr. Jones some sort of white supremacist? But I love being a Black woman? Why would I ever want to go back to being this Mr. Jones guy? He sounds terrible!”

“Computing...” The voice paused, “You do have a choice. You may keep your current body, but you must take back your memories of being George Jones. You cannot run from your actions.”

“Okay! Okay! That! Yes!”

And so George Jones memories rushed into Keysha’s body. He remembered his racism, his hate crime, his trial, and his sentence. Even though he could recalled his time as Keysha as well, George’s history of hate was mostly winning out.

“Oh, God,” He shouted, “No, I want my body back! I don’t want to be this woman! I want MY body!”

“I’m sorry, Ms. Thompson,” The voice replied, “But you have already made your choice. We are done here.”

Former Model

Xavier scowled in Angela’s direction. He didn’t trust her. She claimed she had no idea why they had swapped bodies and that she lost just as much as he did due to the swap. The math just didn’t add up. For starters, he was the one who was now 30 years older and inside of a body in its 50s. Sure, Angela had been a model in her youth, but those gigs were long gone; she had almost no money saved from them. And with no college education and the resume of a former model, any good job prospects for the next few years seemed slim. And she had his body. A young body with a good tech job. He already had a good pile of savings, or at least his body did. She had everything to gain by stealing it. Even if she wasn’t responsible, she had to know more. Maybe she knew how to swap back and just didn’t want to? Whatever it was, he was going to have to figure it out. The last thing he wanted to do was stay in Angela’s body for any longer than he had to.

Once arriving at the graveyard, Martin was able to succesfully cast the spell and return people to the real world. As the spellcaster, he had to stay behind. He was filled with curiosity. What would they do with his lifeless body? It certainly wasn’t dead. Would he be considered in a coma and go to the hospital? Would the group be blamed for what happened to him? He sighed.

“Hey, Old Man, you just going to stand there all day long? We’re going to need to find a new party!” A voice shouted out.

Martin turned around and smiled, “I’m glad you stayed behind with me, Xira. I think I would’ve been sad to lose all of you.”

Xira smiled back. “Truth be told, everything about this is what I’ve always dreamed of. I’ve always wanted to be a woman, first and foremost. I don’t think I’ve ever told anyone that. And once given that opportunity, I couldn’t give that up--even if it means fighting kobolds for the rest of my life.”

“I’ll fight by your side as long as I am able.”

“Thanks, Martin. You’re a true friend.”

“You too, Xira.”

“The dark elf is right,” A low voice spoke out.

Martin was the youngest member of their group, but he always used the same wizard character he had simply named ‘Martin the WIzard.’ As such, his character was the wisest and had the most experience.

“The quest is not the answer. The way home is through the graveyard.” He said.

“How do you know, old man?” Hissed Arthur.

“It was all there. In her words. At the graveyard, I can send you back to the real world.”

“It sounds like you aren’t coming,” Jenny asked.

“I need to cast the spell. I must remain.”

“Let me cast it!” Jason offered.

“You are not a magic user. The dark elf is too novice. I’m afraid I’m the only choice.”

“I don’t know this character’s abilities. I created her almost at random when my previous character died right before we entered this world and assumed the form of our characters.” Matthew stated, “I hadn’t even written a name. She’s a novice, a newb. Maybe it’s because I wasn’t quite done, I can still sort of feel myself at Kevin’s table. It’s like I’m both there AND here. We’re lifeless.”

“I don’t feel any of that,” Althea stated.

“No, you do. You just don’t know you do. You know the answer is not on the quest.” Matthew paused. His body seemed to space out for a moment, seemingly disconnected to the world. He resumed, “I have no solution, though. No hope. It’s darkness and depair. I am a woman with no identity. I am a mage with no magic.”

While Jason had Althea woried, Matthew had her downright scared.

“I hate to say it, but he may be right,” Althea said.

“She,” Jason corrected.

“What?”

“I am Xira right now, and Xira is a she.”

Althea was worried Jason was getting weirdly into the game. She felt a weird tingle inside her that was trying to tell her something. Her character was mostly human, but was also 1/8 dragon, giving her a few clearly non-human traits (such as her yellow eyes) and the ability to sense things. Was it trying to tell her something about Jason? Or was there danger nearby?

“You feel it, too, don’t you?” Matthew interjected rather suddenly.

Much like Arthur, Jason had also selected a female character (a female warrior elf, to be specific). But unlike Arthur, Jason created characters he actually wished he could be. He had never told any of his friends about his secret desire to be a woman, and (truth be told) he was absolutely thrilled that he now had the body of “Xira” (the elf he had created). Seeing as how the rest of his friends seemed to be in a panic about being stuck in their characters’ bodies, he assessed that now wasn’t a good time to tell them either. It probably helped that he made his character rather stoic and logical in nature.

He added to his initial disgust, “This is no time for your lust, Devra. Even if this isn’t the master’s world, our best hope is to continue on our quest.”

“Did you just call Arthur, ‘Devra?’” Althea asked.

“I did, Jerica,” Jason replied referring to Althea by her character’s name as well.

“Stop being weird, Jason” Althea sighed.

Much like Jenny, Arthur had regrets about the character he had created. He tended to make characters he could fantasize about, and “Devra” had been no exception to this rule. He had designed Devra as a seductive thief, and he now could feel both her bloodlust and her hyper libido that he had given her. Perhaps the only thing containing both from exploding were his scars that his character obtained in a battle right before everyone literally became their own characters. They were more painful than he could imagine.

A thought dawned on him. Since his subclass allowed him to learn a few spells, he tried to heal himself and was amazed as the scars went away.

“Holy shit!” He exclaimed, “Not only are we are our characters, but the magic is now real.” He quickly put on a seductive grin, giving a noted glance over in Jason’s direction, “If anyone wants to celebrate.”

“Ew, no!” Jason quickly responded.

Into the Game (Part 2)

View Into the Game (Part 1) here.

Jenny grunted at Kevin’s response. One thing she wanted was out of this game as soon as possible. Back in the real world, she knew the guys in their D&D group had a crush on her. While she considered herself pretty average in the looks department, the fact that she played these types of games made her into a goddess amongst other players. As such, she tried to pick characters that fought againt this perception.

In hindsight, picking a smelly ol’ male orc as her character was a terrible decision. She was easily the strongest in the party, and she realized she could probably flatten Kevin into a pancake if she wanted to. She obviously wouldn’t, but it the one thing that felt good about this being stuck like this right now was knowing she could. Plus, she also tried to subvert perceptions by having her orc be a pacifist cleric, resorting to violence only when necessary. Crushing Kevin would simply be out of character. She wasn’t quite so sure about Arthur though.

Into the Game (Part 1)

Kevin could certainly recognize the six figures that stood before him. They all looked exactly as they had described when his friends had created the characters. It was supposed to be a simple game of Dungeons and Dragons, but the group could’ve never anticipated being sucked into the game to play as the various characters.

Kevin was the obvious exception. He had been the Dungeon Master, so he had no need to create a character. While he was still sucked into the game with the others, his appearance had not changed.

“Is everyone okay?” He asked before adding.

“Do you want us to roll some dice to find out?” Arthur asked sarcastically.

“Well, aside from the obvious,” Kevin added.

“Oh, we’re just peachy,” Jenny quipped, “Can you give us any guidance?”

“We’re not in my living room anymore,” Kevin flatly stated, “I can try, but I’m not sure this even resembles the game I had planned. Also, just compared to the rest of you, well, I doubt this is a +10 cardigan or anything, but I’ll try to help as much as I can.”

Second Test

View First Test here.

Word of Dr. Wong’s experiment leaked among a few in the faculty. Many people dismissed it as pure science fiction. Professor Austin MacDuff saw an opportunity to solve a problem of his own making. He had been sleeping with one of his students; she was not only ready to call it off, but expose his actions to the entire university. He convince her to meet him one last time, picking Dr. Wong’s lab as the location. He intentionally fumbled his words and told her to put on the helmet, explaining that it would allow his thoughts and emotions to transmit directly to her so she could understand how much she meant to him. After she did so, he pulled the level.

Within an instant, Austin was inside the body of his own student. It’s not like he wanted to be a 20-year-old or a woman or a student again, but he felt like he had no choice. If she tried to expose him now, she would only be hurting her own body. He’d be completely in the clear as long as he had her body. She was obviously more angry than ever at Austin, but there was little she could do, as Dr. Wong’s experiment currently only worked one time for each person it was used on.

On the Inside

I had been struggling quite a bit since the Great Shift struck. I was attending classes at the local college when it happened, and I suddenly went from being a 20-year-old guy to being inside one of the teachers, an almost 40-year-old woman. Just about everything about adapting to my new body made me miserable. I wore her professional skirt suits and high heels. I put on her makeup each day. I even tried going on dates with men because I was told my supposed “biological clock” was ticking. Trying to be that woman I was on the outside was difficult.

Then I was visiting home and saw my sister Tabitha. She was now in the body of one of our neighbors, a man in his late 20s. She didn’t put up any sort of fascade about it. She still acted like the little girl she was. When it was time for her dance recital, she still wore a girl’s tutu.

I began to rethink my strategy. I was no longer going to act like the body I had, but instead be the person I am. I started to wear a lot more baggy sweats and hoodies. Yeah, I still had to wear a bra under it, but nothing stopped me from putting on boxer shorts. I spent my free time playing video games. I even started dating women again. It was ultimately much easier to be who I felt on the inside than who I appeared as on the outside. And I had my little sister to thank for getting me to believe that.

A Life Story

Ever since that one day 40 years ago, Daniel had regretted going into that weird store in the mall. Amber, his date, had wanted to avoid it, but he felt compelled and talked her into it. The old man working the register gave Daniel a small compact mirror for doing makeup, which felt odd since Daniel was a guy and didn’t wear makeup. He tried giving it back, saying he didn’t want to pay for it, but the old man insisted it was no charge and that he absolutely must take it for himself and himself alone. He shrugged.

Almost immediately after leaving, he decided to give the compact to Amber. As soon as she touched it, she frozen in place becoming a lifeless husk with a pink mist floating into the compact. Daniel panicked and touched her arm, causing a similar mist to whaff from his body to hers. His own body now went limp as he was in control of Amber now.

Every day, he kept the compact with him, hoping he’d be able to somehow give Amber her life back. Even as the years passed with Amber’s body getting wrinkles and her hair turning gray, he’d often speak to the compact, believing Amber to be inside and make a promise to find a way while living the best possible life as her she could imagine. And one day as he did this, finally the mist returned. But instead of returning to Amber’s body, it seemed to eminate up into the air, into nothing. Daniel considered it an affirmation, as if being told he had done a good job being Amber and to continue the rest of this life just as well.

Lost

When a young girl got lost in the woods, Benjamin joined a search party to look for her. The entire team split into groups of four to systematically search, and Benjamin was grouped with Elle, Grant, and Maddy to explore a section. They didn’t have any luck finding the girl, but they did come across a strange clearing that had an oddly magical feel to it. As they paused there to plan how best to continue the search, a demon appeared. They didn’t have time to ask about the missing girl or run away, as the demon instantly froze them all in place. He cackled as he explained what he would do to them.

“Many have come into my home,” He said, “But they never leave at the same time or the same who as they were when they arrived. You won’t remember me or this clearing. Everything will be unfamilar, and you will have no idea why.” And with those words, the group passed out.

Benjamin could no longer remember entering the forest, but he now found himself stumbling out of it. A man approached him and addressed him, “Oh, Liz, that goodness you’re okay! Your husband and I have been worried! You said you were just going to go for a quick walk, but you’ve been gone for hours.”

“Liz? Husband? I’m not--” Ben asked before looking down and seeing a feminine body beneath a sweater he now wore. He didn’t want to seem crazy. He had to pretend to be the woman he appeared to be, so he corrected himself, “Yeah, I’m sorry. Guess I just lost track of time. It’s just sort of magical in that forest.”

First Test

Author's Note: I have brought back Alicia's Archive of old captions that ran on here a while ago. I'm going through and "remastering" these old captions, so that they should be able to stay up without having to be taken down for any reason later. It might mean there are periods when it doesn't get updated, because it's not just dumping old images up there, but enjoy for now!

Dr. Carl Marlowe worked closely with his colleague Dr. Emily Wong for several years now. When she invited him to help her test an experiment, he was eager to join. She gave instruction to put on goggles followed by a large mental helmet. He didn’t even ask what it all did. He was sure it would be as fascinating as some of her previous work, and sure enough, it was!

After she hit adjusted read off a few readings on her laptop and typed in a few adjustments, she then pulled a large switch on the wall.

Carl was surprised to find himself looking at...himself. He soon realized he was in control of Emily’s body. He took a deep breath, he wiggled her fingers, he blinked his eyes. He finally spoke, “Neural transferance? Astounding! Are the helmets amplifying our electrical impulses across the room to the other body? Do we swap back if we remove them?”

“Swap back?” Emily asked, “Oh, my! I am nowhere near that level in my research. It will be at least a few more months before I am ready to run that test! You can take off the helmet. I’ll call again when I’m ready.”

“But I’m...in your body!”

“And I’m in yours. It’ll all be fixed in a few months. Don’t worry.”

Opt-In

“What do you mean I’m stuck like this forever?” An outaged Peter whimered with tears starting to form in his eyes, “This is Exchange Island! The swap is only supposed to last as long as my vacation! I’m flying back out tomorrow! I have a big meeting on Monday; I can’t go back looking like this!”

The guest services representative remained clam, “When you booked your trip online, you clicked the box that opted into our program that allows either party to refuse to swap back if they prefer their new body. It appears Miss Sato has elected that option.”

“What? I’m one of your wealthiest customers!”

“Actually, per the terms and conditions of the online contract, all monies, properties, accounts, loyalty points, and debt remain with the physical body. You’ve relinquished all rights to being Peter Alson. Physically and legally, you are Hina Sato now. And it’s also my regret to inform you that your card’s been declined for your dinner reservation tonight.”

“But I have a black card! It has no limit!”

“I’m sorry, Miss Sato, but I believe you’re talking about Mr. Alson’s card. That all transfered to him once he opted. I can’t allow you to use another guest’s card for your expenses.”

“I’ll sue this place out of existence.”

“Good luck. Exchange Island is a soveign country with no reciprocity or extradition.”

At the Gym (Part 1)

As Chad got ready in the locker room at the gym for a quick swim and a workout, he noticed a necklace with a pendant on the floor. It looked cheap, but he figured he should turn it into lost and found. He was somewhat baffled by how a woman’s necklace ended up in the men’s locker room, but he shrugged it off.

He had it in his hand as he went down the pool where he saw his friend, Kelly. They did a quick hug and he inadvertantly touched the necklace to her shoulder. After a few moments of chatting to catch up, they began to notice something was wrong. Chad was becoming more feminine and Kelly was masculine. As his chest began to expand, Kelly removed her sportsbra and loaned it to Chad. When the transformation was done, each realized they now looked like the other. Chad put the pendant he was holding around his neck, as they tried to figure out how they had essentially swapped bodies.

They couldn’t figure it out. Instead, they just gave each other brief instructions about how to live as the other person. Kelly told Chad about where she lived, a few details on being a woman, and explicit instructions to keep her body fit. Chad shared similar instructions with Kelly. They both hoped they somehow magically swap back, maybe while they slept. When Chad left the gym, he dropped the necklace in the lost and found, not realizing it was, in fact, the famed Medallion of Zulu and responsible for the swap.

Dainty Knight

Batman was on high alert. Sneaking into Joker’s lair seemed almost too easy. The henchmen didn’t put up much of a fight and there were few, easily dispatched, traps. Before long, he was face-to-face with the clown prince, demanding to know where the Commissioner was. The Joker just laughed as he blew a small amount of powder in Batman’s face.

Batman expected this trick and quickly injected himself with an anti-toxin to counteract Joker gas. The Joker laughed even harder.

“Exactly as a I planned!” The Joker cackled, “That wasn’t my typical toxin at all! This’ll be even funnier!”

Within moments, Batman’s body shifted in pain. His entire body re-arranged, turning into that of a woman.

“Don’t think this is going to stop me from taking you down, Joker,” Batman grumbled.

“I look forward to it, Dainty Knight...”

Everybody Change

Author's Note: I am working on an upcoming series that REALLY made me reflect on elections. For those in the US, today is election day. I encourage you all to vote for candidates that support LGBTQIA2S+ people. There are many politicians out there who will make the world a worse place, particularly for the trans community; and I fear many of these people could get elected today. Do your part. Vote. Vote for the people who are most likely better to make the world better for trans people. Vote for people that support women's choices. Vote.

William had just graduated law school and got a job as a junior lawyer at a law firm. He was finally able to move out of his parents’ house and get an apartment down by the court house. The other people in the building explained that the community was very close, and William looked forward to getting to know people. His job left him with very little time to do so however. In fact, his first time to breathe had to spent going to the local laundromat.

Shortly after he put his clothes into the dryer, a weird homeless man came in shouting, “Everybody change clothes! Everybody change!”

William looked a little scared, but a neighbor told him that he would get used to it. The man left shortly after with no incident, and William finished drying his clothes. But as he pulled it out, his clothes were gone! Instead, a woman’s set of clothing was inside.

The same neighbor came over again and explained, “It happens everytime that man comes in. You’ll switch bodies with someone in the neighborhood. Looks like you’re Maria de la Cruz right now. Like I said, you get used to it.”

“New body?” William hadn’t even noticed but when he looked down it was clear, “But...how?”

“No one knows how he does it. Someone probably mentioned when you moved in that we are a close community. Now you know why.”

Bro?

I had been your typical frat bro before the Great Shift. I enjoyed beers, parties, girls...you get the picture. Just about every single one of my frat brothers and I ended up swapping with women, about half from the sorority nextdoor. As you can imagine, we were pretty devistated about it. About a month in, I considered myself luckier than the rest of them. They had all had periods and the accompanying cramps, but I seemed to have avoided it all. I assumed I was now one of those women who just them irregularly or maybe even not at all. I started putting on weight, but I assumed I was still eating as thought I had my former body and this body’s metabolism couldn’t adapt. But by the time summer rolled around, it was obvious: I had not only swapped into the body of a woman, but I had swapped into the body of a pregnant woman! The doctors said my due date is in late August, and I hope to give birth and get back to school. If my frat brothers ever found out about this, I’d probably never hear the end of it.

Thirteenth Day

Had it been two weeks already? Ryan had been so desperate all those months ago. He wanted to become a woman, and a demon gave him an opportunity. He would transform Ryan in any way his heart desired, but Ryan would have to use that form to collect a soul for the demon once every two weeks. Ryan quickly described his form; big beautiful blue eyes, long brown hair, perfect porcelain skin. He went on for about twenty minutes, and the demon complied. Ryan had become a truly stunning woman. Now it was time for Ryan to hold up his end of the deal. He would have to kill someone every two weeks in some way; stabbing, shooting, poison, or through trickery and manipulation -- getting one many to kill another. The demon assured Ryan he’d never be caught; the only consequence would be Ryan’s own guilt. If Ryan didn’t collect a soul by the thirteenth day of a cycle, the demon would issue a reminder. If he ever hit the full two weeks, the demon would take Ryan’s soul and the souls of all those he loved. Ryan thought it wouldn’t be so bad, but even after a single murder, he was wracked with guilt. He often hit the thirteenth day and was issued horrific reminders. Often the demon would create visible, painful cracks on his self-described “porcelain” skin. It was never the physical pain of the cracks that broke Ryan into compliance, but the mental one of being anything other than a beautiful woman.

Hidden in Plain Sight

“I would guess someone doesn’t want Julie and I to swap back our own bodies,” Bernard mused as he looked at the shelves packed with books. Yesterday, the shelves in the back room of the library had been empty with the sole exception of an old book about the town’s history. But wedged between two of the pages was a folded parchment with a spell that swapped Bernard and Julia into each other’s bodies for at least a day until they read the spell again. They thought it best to leave the parchment and the book in the library to keep it safe. When they came back the next day, the shelves were full. The book itself was hard enough to find, but the parchment no longer seemed to be contained within it. It had to be in one of the other books. Bernard and Julie split up with each starting on different sides of the room. Bernard looked at the first shelf before him and felt overwhelmed. He had an awkward twenty four hours being stuck in Julie’s body so far, and it seemed he was going to have to get over that, as it looked like he was going to be stuck for much longer.

Exclusive Interview

I had been granted an exclusive interview with Madison Lowery; it was a thrilling opportunity. It was hard to recall the last time a celebrity got famous so quickly, being booked on countless shows, movies, and fashion shoots in such a short time. I had to know her secret, so I asked.

“It was a genie,” She laughed.

“No, seriously,” I protested.

“For real. Six months ago, I was actually a guy down on his luck, and I mean a guy, a dude, a male. I came across a genie. I wished to be attractive. I should’ve been more careful, as I had hoped to be an attractive guy; instead he gave me the body you know see. Then I wished for fame that brought me great wealth. It’s non-stop work, but at least I have this wonderous estate.”

“This all sounds far-fetched.”

She took me to get backyard that had an absolutely enourmous animal. “It’s the finest of its kind with a coat that is naturally manicured perfectly. It’s larger than you’d find anywhere else, no matter where you looked. It exists because it’s magic.”

“But why would this be your third wish?”

“Another case of needing to be more careful. Do you really think I wished for the world’s largest and most beautiful donkey?” She asked.

Halftime (Part 2)

View Part 1 here.

Stephanie coughed when the pink smoke puffed out from behind the cheerleaders. She thought she was going to die, but then suddenly felt stranger -- though much less flexible. Just about everything felt wrong, and when she looked down to see two very manly pecs in place of her own feminine chest, she screamed. Her voice was deeper than she expected, which only made her want to scream again. She looked over to the players to see her own body sitting there in Bryan’s uniform. She looked down at her new muscles again. They certainly looked like his! She had spent plenty of time admiring his body from afar, and now she was going to be able to examine it in a way that was closer than any woman should ever be able to! She was Bryan! And he was her! Chaos ensued for the rest of halftime, but the officials (who were unswapped) insisted the game go on. It was decided the cheerleaders with the players bodies would be the ones to take the field. Stephanie was nervous. She didn’t know anything about how to actually play football, and she was also very worried that she was going to get hurt!

Halftime (Part 1)

It was halftime at the football game. Bryan knew his team was down by a touchdown, but he was sure they could make it up in the second half. Truth be told, he loved halftime. Cheerleaders would take the field and he could just watch and enjoy. As they were doing their routines, he saw more pyrotechnics than he expected. There were sparks and a weird pink smoke that seemed to extend all the way to where the players sat and also blocked his view. When it cleared all the cheerleaders had been replaced by buff guys wearing the cheerleaders’ uniforms. Bryan wasn’t sure whether to laugh or be disgusted. But then he realized the guys were his fellow teammates, and even stranger -- one of the guys was him!

Then he looked down. It was hard to tell beneath his own uniform, but something was different. The hands that stuck out of from the sides were smaller and thinner. The dainty fingers he now possessed had painted nails. He was a chick! He one was one the cheerleaders! How could he possibly continue to play football like this!? The other players and the cheerleaders were freaking out as well.
