“The Great Shift was the best thing that could’ve happened to us,” Robyn told her husband, “I never imagined how awesome being in the body of a supermodel could be! I can’t believe how skinny and hot I am!”

“I guess,” Malcolm replied, “I guess it could’ve been worse for me, but I would’ve preferred if I stayed a man. At least if I am a woman, I’m a hot one. I do miss making love the way we used to...”

“But we still do...”

“I know, but it’s just not the same. Let’s not dwell on it and just ignore our night out.”

Robyn smirked, “And with these bodies, we can get in anywhere we want to go.”

Frank and Emily probably should have known their efforts to get into the concert would be futile. They couldn’t even get passed security. Tickets were sold out and the story of two young women looking for their parents just didn’t seem all that likely to the bouncer. They exited the venue, hoping that their daughters would return home soon enough and swap back with the two parents.

Styling

Michelle still felt awkward about preparing her former body for the runway show. The Great Shift had been devastating to her. She had been a model, and while her new body was still very attractive, female, and skinny, it was also shorter and older. She was also thankful to still have a job, though now she was styling fashion shows instead of walking in them. This one proved to be very awkward, particularly because her old body would be in it. The person now inside her body was a man, a construction worker. And he spoke, well, like a construction worker, making rude comments about both Michelle’s former body as well as her current one. It was hard for her to hear such language coming from her former mouth.

Frank started to absent-mindedly play with his hair. “I have a feeling they’re okay,” he said.

“But how do you know?” His wife asked.

“I don’t. But do you remember that concert they wanted to go to? The one we told them they couldn’t attend? It’s today. I just sort of have a feeling they did this. Either so that they could go or as revenge or something.”

“Do you think they’re at the concert?” She gasped.

“It can’t hurt to try to see...”

Emily pulled in her husband and gave him a kiss, “I’m so sorry, Frank,” she said.

Frank sighed, “I’ve been trying to call Maggie on my cell phone ever since this happened. She doesn’t seem to be picking up. I’m doing fine for now, but I certainly don’t want to be stuck in our daughter’s body any longer than I have to!”

“I just hope they’re okay. There’s no telling how they’re reacting to being in our bodies. I’m sure it’s terrifying for them!”

Emily was shocked when she found herself in the body of one of her daughters, Valerie. She was shocked, but didn’t know what to do. She was relieved when she laid eyes upon her other daughter.

“Maggie! It’s so good to see you! I know this is hard to believe, but I’m Mom...I’m in Valerie’s body, but it’s Mom. I know it’s hard to believe...”

Maggie’s body shrugged, “It’s not so hard. I’m not Maggie either. I’m your husband. I’m Frank!”

Old

It was weird. Maggie was now looking at herself drinking a cup of tea! What she didn't realize yet was that the Great Shift had taken her sexy body from her and placed her inside the body of an old woman. Meanwhile, John now inside Maggie's body was also freaking out on the inside. He did not know how he had suddenly turned into a sexy woman, but he tried to keep himself calm by taking a sip of a nearby cup of tea...
