Tea Party

I wish my mom never had another kid. I was fifteen when my sister Maddie was born; don’t most parents stop once their kids are that old? I have nothing against siblings either! It’s just that Maddie is pure evil. I don’t mean that in a mean way either! I actually love my little sister a lot, but she has literal magic powers that I can only describe as evil. We first noticed them when she was around four years old. Anything she said or wanted could become reality. The only saving grace seemed to be the power didn’t work when she was having a temper tantrum.

That being said, even coming from a good place could quickly become a nightmare. I was off at college when she was six, but she wanted me to attend a tea party. And then she wanted me to wear a pretty pink dress. And then she wanted me to be a princess for a far off land. Sure enough, that’s exactly who I became.

I played along (it was usually easier to play along). At the end I asked, “Can I go back to being your brother now?”

Maddie thought about it for a long time, and finally said, “No.”

And now I’ve been attending her daily tea parties in between the task of running a small, distant country as a princess.

Gown

Roger took a deep breath as he sat down in his room at the Exchange Island resort. He always loved visiting, but he never could really get used to the initial shock of being in a different body upon arriving. And speaking of different, finding himself in a body wearing a fancy gown was unique. Most people vacationed in pretty casual clothing. A few times he had swapped bodies with a person wearing a swimsuit, but a gown? He couldn’t help but wonder what this woman was thinking going to tropical resort wearing such a thing -- particularly one where you end up in someone else’s body. No matter, he was sure she packed other things; but getting out of this thing was probably going to take some work!

Strange Vacation (Part 2)

For Part 1, click here

Kyle couldn't believe his mom was making him go out to dinner with the family looking like this! When his family got to Exchange Island, he swapped into the body of a gorgeous woman. He just wanted to hide in their room until the week was over, but his mom insisted that they go out to dinner. He groaned; reluctantly throwing on some jeans and a t-shirt. His mom disapproved. They were going to a nice restaurant, and told Kyle he had to dress nice. She picked out a dress for him and did his hair and makeup. He felt stupid as his parents dragged him out of the room and off to dinner.

Like a fairy princess

"Give me back my body, Darren!" Jennifer screaming while grabbing her old body's arm.

"Let go!" Darren yelled back, "I told you that I don't know how to swap us back! I don't even know how we swapped in the first place!"

"Okay, fine, but can you at least dress in a way that doesn't make me look like a fairy princess?"

"I know it's hard to accept, but this is my body now, and I can dress it however I damn well please!"

Opportunity

Dylan had always been jealous of the beautiful, colorful clothes women got to wear, so when the Great Shift ended up plopping into a female body he was ecstatic. He took the opportunity to wear all sorts of skirts and dresses. Though he had to admit, some of the clothing was a lot tighter and restrictive than he expected. He also couldn't help but think it was weird that someone would design clothes without pockets!
