The Job Market

The job market had tightened in recent months, and Mel had heard women were being hired at higher rates than men. It made sense. Women had started outpacing men in college graduation rates, and the zeitgeist around men being lazy and arrogant were stronger than others -- none of it added up to encouraging news for a guy entering the workplace.

Still, his name was gender neutral enough -- perhaps he could fake it? A wig? A dress? And Trying to pitch up his voice just enough to be convincing? He hoped it would all be enough to land the gig.

And sure enough, it was. But now he had to put on a smile and come to the office every day like this? He guessed so. He really needed this job, after all...

Holiday Job

As the holidays approached, Sam was in need of some extra cash. However, finding a part-time job proved to be difficult. His friend had told him about an opening at the mall for elves in the Christmas village they had set up. The only problem? At this point, they were only looking for females to fill the remaining rolls. Sam was desperate. He asked for help to pull off hair, makeup, padding, and more to pass as a woman. In the end, he was more than convincing and got the job on the spot. Being stuck as a holiday elf was certainly humiliating, and having to dress up a woman was just icing on that cake. The only plus side, he guessed, was that he was sure no one would ever recognize him. Each day when he went to work, he felt like he was going to cry, but he put on a smile and played his part as best he could...

Nathan turned around to admire this body just a little more. He couldn’t believe how good looking his mom had been so many years ago! A sudden sense of panic set in. What was going to happen when his mom returned home and found a younger version of herself in the house? This whole thing had been caused by trying on her clothes; maybe he could change back by putting on his own. He looked around, but it seems that they vanished! The panic worsened. What if he was stuck like this? He may be in his mom’s body, but he certainly wasn’t his mom! He’d have no identity like this! He tried to calm himself down as he made his way from the attic back to the kitchen. He took a seat, just waiting for his parents to return. They had to believe who he really was, right? I mean, after all, they were his parents. They should be able to figure out who their son is no matter what he looks like!

Except Younger (Part 1)

Ever since he was 10 years old, Nathan would sneak into his mom’s closet and wear her clothes. Even now, a decade later, when he would return from school on break, he’d seize the opportunity to try on things from her wardrobe. On one particular visit, he was digging through the attic and found some old workout clothes that his mom hadn’t worn in years. Unable to resist, Nathan soon found himself ripping on his own clothes and putting on his mom’s. Next, he pulled a sheet off a nearby mirror in order to look at himself. The dusty, dull old mirror suddenly began to shine as the light hit it just right. Nathan stood still as he stared in the mirror. The reflection was not his own. It was his mom’s! But not his mom; it was his mom from more than 20 years ago, long before he was born. He stood still in disbelief just to be sure the reflection would mimic his actions. Then he looked down in shock to discover that it wasn’t just the reflection. His whole body had changed! He was now a young version of his own mother somehow!

Nancy had specified certain aspects of the dress that she had wanted Warren to wear while he was in Devin’s body. It should be short and black with pink heels and a wig. Warren bought all the items while still in Nancy’s body. After all, there was nothing suspicious about a woman purchasing such things. Also, since he used Nancy’s money, he wouldn’t have to bill her for the additional expenses later. He hid them near Devin’s house. He took a short break in his own body before switching with Devin and getting to work. Devin’s body looked quite silly in the dress, particularly with his five o’clock shadow. Warren briefly considered the fact that showing up on the trading floor like this might get Devin fired, but he shrugged it off. Most likely, he’d probably just get sent home for the day. Still, Devin would be hearing it from his co-workers for the rest of his life, and that was exactly what Nancy’s plan for revenge was. None of this bothered Warren. He was just doing this all to get paid.

Jack knew this would ruin his friendship with Lina, but it was worth it. He had her body now, her gorgeous, beautiful body. He’d be willing to sacrifice a lot to keep it, and his friendship with Lina seemed like a small price.

As he turned his back on her for good, he gave one last look. He wanted to scowl or frown, but instead he let out a smile. He was just that happy being in Lina’s body, the feeling of being a woman just brought joy to him. He hoped Lina would see that one day and forgive him. He didn’t need that forgiveness, but he wanted it.

Karma

Anne had always been a traditional, conservative woman. She believed that men should act like men, and women should act like women. However, the Great Shift would completely shake up her views of the world. She wound up in a man’s body, but she still felt like she was a woman inside. No, she still KNEW she was a woman inside. She did everything she could to hold on to her femininity, often overdoing it. She wore makeup thicker than ever before, telling herself it would hide any traces of a masculine facial structure. She never wore pants anymore; it was always dresses or skirts now. She wore high necked outfits to cover her Adam’s Apple. She looked at herself in mirror. She knew she could still pass as a woman despite what was now between her legs. But as she looked, she realized how wrong she had been for all those years. It was not about your gender on the outside, but what you feel on the inside. Maybe the Great Shift was some sort of cosmic karma to make her realize this. Maybe if she had just known this sooner, things would have been different.

Lina became furious, but Jack simply rolled his eyes.

“Puh-lease!” He exclaimed, “You never appreciated your body. You just covered it up with a plain old t-shirt and jeans. But in the few hours that this has been MY body, just look at what I’ve done! I’m like a beautiful butterfly coming out of a cocoon!”

Now it was Lina’s turn to roll her eyes.

“You don’t look beautiful; you look stupid,” She told him, “And you’re making me look stupid, and I don’t like it.”

“You may not like it, but you’re going to have to live with it,” He retorted,”Because there is no way you are going to convince me to switch back. Besides, I think you make a better Jack than I did.”

Secrets (Part 1)

Lina and Jack had been friends for longer than either of them could remember. They had grown close over the years that during sophomore year at college, Jack felt comfortable enough to tell Lina his biggest secret: He was gay. Lina rolled her eyes; she had always suspected. But he stopped her. It was more than that. He also secretly longed to crossdress. In fact, he wished he was a woman. Lina was silent. Jack worried how she took the news. But, in fact, she had a confession of her own. She was a witch, and she knew a body-swapping spell. Jack’s eyes lit up. Lina sighed. She agreed to switch bodies with him for a few days...just so he could know what it felt like to be a woman. A few moments later the spell was cast and the two bodies collapsed. A few hours later, Jack awoke and realized he now had Lina’s body. Lina was feeling slightly more uncomfortable, but took solace in the fact that it was only temporary. When she ran into Jack a few hours later, she became horrified. What the hell had he dressed her body up in? He told her it was from his secret stash of women’s clothing. If he was going to be in a woman’s body, he wanted to dress like the woman of his dreams. Lina was flustered. She wanted him to change; she wanted her body back. Jack looked at her deep in the eyes and said, “No.”

The night of nights

This was the only night of the year he could get away with something like this. Ben had painted his nails, put on a dress and a wig, grabbed a puse and went on the town. Oh, he almost forgot the mask to hide his face. No one would know that under that sexy female guise was a dude. He was living his secret desire on the one night. He could dress up as a woman, and if anyone found out he was actually a man under it all, he could blame it on the night; it was Halloween after all.

Private school

Many people enroll their children in private schools with the best hope for their children, and the Jones family was no exception. They wanted their boys, Jay and Zak to go to the best school in the county. Unfortunately for the boys, it happened to be an all girls school. The boys parents, unwilling to take no for an answer, forced their sons to dress as girls for the admission test. When they passed with flying colors, their parents forced them to attended, dressing them up as convincing girls in school uniforms each day.
