Punish Them Severely

Wesley wasn’t sure how or why his entire family had swapped bodies over the holidays. They had all hoped they’d return to normal before the vacation was over. They didn’t.

He had swapped bodies with his Aunt Junie. He always thought of her as the “cool aunt” since she was about a decade younger than his mom, and she had kids a decade younger than he was. Oh, and speaking of that, it was his own mom and dad that ended up in the body of Aunt Junie’s kids. They weren’t exactly happy about ending up in the bodies of an 8 year old and a 10 year old, and they ended up getting in trouble at school simply because they were acting like adults and not children.

Wesley was called in for a meeting with the teachers and the principal, and it felt like such a power trip. Of course, when he arrived he was acting like a 20 year old dude instead of a woman in her 30s as well, which was as much of a surprise to the school officials as the behavior of the children was. But, still, Wesley wasn’t going to pass up an opportunity to talk up the idea of “punishing them severely.”

Hot Aunt

“What the heck? Why is there a tattoo on my arm, Aunt Sharon? Why did you get a tattoo? I don’t want to get my body back with a tattoo on it!” Harvey protested.

“Maybe I don’t plan on giving it back,” His aunt replied.

“No! We agreed! We were just doing this for a few weeks in the summer before I went to college. It was fun, but I don’t want to be stuck in the body of my mom’s sister! She talks to me about sleeping with dad! It’s gross, and she won’t shut up about it! I hated having your period, and how men treated me in the office as a woman! And I don’t think I deserve to lose twenty years of my life!”

“Now you’re just naming all the reasons I shouldn’t agree to swap back. You were the one dumb enough to ask about swapping bodies in the first place. I know you were so curious about what it would be like to be the ‘hot aunt.’ I could’ve told you that it sucks, but you know because you lived it. But it sucks for you, because you’re going to have to continue living it. I know we can’t swap back unless we both agree, and I’m simply not agreeing.”

A Little Worse

Two days before the biggest game of his life, and Ethan couldn’t believe he swapped bodies with his aunt. He needed to impress the recruiter in order to secure a college scholarship, and he couldn’t imagine it would go well with his aunt using his body to play. After giving his aunt a crash course, he came up with a plan to better increase his odds. On the day of the big game, he picked out the tightest jeans his aunt own, a skimpy top, and some heels. He sat in the stands and tried to pose in seductive ways. He hoped to distract the other players. It was extremely awkward for him. He hated being his aunt and being a woman; he hated acting feminine even more. However, he knew he couldn’t make his aunt play any better, but maybe he could make everyone else play just a little worse.

Practice

Lacrosse wasn’t the most popular sport at the university, but a few locals and sometimes some family members would show up at games or practice. When Greg’s aunt showed up from out of town at one game, no one thought much of it. But she kept showing up day after day, sitting in the front row, and taking notes about the game. What seemed particular odd was the fact that she had to travel hundreds of miles each day from her home to attend. What no one knew was that Greg had swapped bodies with his aunt on the first day she showed up. He gave her the best training he could each night; he’d take notes about what to tell her to get better each time. And he kept hoping he’d swap back, but it never happened. In the meantime, he tried his best to keep up good appearances, smiling, and pretending to be his aunt as best he could.

Nervous intensity

Clifford had been watching the game so far with nervous intensity. There were a number of college recruiters watching. He should be playing in this game, but thanks to a magic medallion that caused him to swap bodies with his aunt, he was watching from the crowd instead. He didn’t expect his aunt to play well, but she was actually doing pretty good. It wasn’t quite as good as he could normally do, but it would probably be good enough to impress some schools. He breathed a sigh of relief; the only obstacle now was figuring out a way to reverse the swap!

Tricycle

Alex hadn't quite figured out what had happened to him yet. The Great Shift had swapped him into his Aunt's body, but all he realized was that he was too big for his toys. As he tried to ride his tricycle, he got upset. Of course, his anger was nothing compared to his aunt's, who found herself in Alex's toddler-aged body...
