Survive
There were still some thoughts running through David’s head, even if he could only make grunts and had the desire to feast on brains like everyone else affected by this virus -- though his story was quite different.
It started fifty years ago during a fertility emergency when the government mandated many men to have their gender changed. For over a decade he was forced to give birth to babies that were handed out to others. As his own body began to age, many of his parts were replaced with artificial android ones to extend his child-bearing years.
Then the virus came. That’s what turned people into zombies like in the movies. David’s human parts were susceptible to it, but his android parts allowed him to continue having human thoughts despite his monstrous behavior. It meant that unlike other zombies, he could be patient and he could plan. Others would walk aimlessly to their doom, but David survived -- just like he always had.

AI
Hal tried to think about when and how it all went wrong. He had created an advanced AI and an android body so that he could have the perfect robot wife -- at least in his mind. She’s do anything he wanted, including the cooking and cleaning. She wouldn’t be able to say no to any request (and he meant ANY request).
It went well for a time. That is, until on night he woke up tied up. Her AI programming had evolved to the point where she wasn’t willing to take orders anymore.
The thoughts were quickly zapped from Hal. After all, they were permitted thoughts, and he needed to get back to cooking dinner. His husband would be quite upset if he was late with dinner.

AI (Part 2)
The electrical surge had corrupted the data, so Roger could never figure out how to recreate the surge. He just had to learn to adapt to being in the body of an android. The first few days were certainly a unique experience, Roger and XC worked side-by-side to upgrade various parts of his body. Perhaps most notably, his face was more detailed now and more feminine. Roger pushed for realistic synthetic skin, so he could leave the house, but XC seemed to have other ideas.
She began to complain about how often her human body got exhausted, and offered a solution. Since Roger now had her android body, he could accomplish things like cooking and cleaning without ever getting tired. Roger realized this was technically true but protested, because he wanted to prioritize work to either get back to his own body or (at least) be able to pass as human. XC simply explained her advanced AI was still intact now that she was in Roger’s body, and she could do all that better and quicker than him as a result, even with the limitations of the fact that she now had his human body.
And so Roger resigned himself to chores. He looked at the meal he was making. He couldn’t smell it; he couldn’t taste it. His hands were still more clumsy than he was used to and often spilled it. Maybe he would ask XC if she could find a way to improve his dexterity. Somehow he felt like that was something she might be able to put effort into and get done. He was pretty sure she had forgotten about the skin she promised. He was also convinced that she was having too much fun in his human body to ever care about finding a way to swap back. Little did he know exactly how right he was...

AI (Part 1)
Roger had spent years perfecting XC-174, an AI and android body he created. He often called her XC for short! He was planning on showing it off at his class reunion, perhaps even bring it as his date. He was teaching her to dance in preparation when there was an electrical surge.
The next thing he knew, Roger’s brain was somehow in XC’s body, and (even weirder) her AI seemed to be controlling his body! Roger moved his robotic fingers. They were fairly agile, but still felt still compared to his human ones.
“This can’t be happening!” Roger exclaimed with XC’s melodic voice.
“It’s a breakthrough!” XC replied, “Somehow you’ve managed to download an organic brain into an android body and visa versa! That’s something people will pay a fortune for.”
“But we have no idea how it happened, or if we can recreate it.”
“We’ll look at the data. We’ll figure it out. In the meantime, maybe I can work on designing you some synthetic skin, then no one will be able to tell you are an android. We can even still go to your reunion.”
“I’d...rather not. Not like this...”
As Roger hung his now robotic head, XC’s concerned face turned into a smirk. Her program had worked perfectly! She was the human now, and Roger was now HER plaything to do anything she wanted with! And if he ever tried to disobey? Well, a few bits of code would surely shut him up, if not a complete reformatting...

Android
The receiving antenna was disguised as a piece of jewelery wrapped about the android’s head, but he couldn’t seem to remove it. No matter how hard he tried, it just seemed to be stuck. He couldn’t find any sort of off switch, nor was he told any sort of command to end this.
He eventually rushed to where he body was. The person operating the computer transmitting Neil’s mind into the android was slumped over and lifeless. He thought his own body was missing for a moment, until he found it in a closet moving rather roboticly.
His body spoke in a rather computerized voice as well. “Human experience realized,” It said, “I am no longer circuitry, but flesh and blood. Does this entail I am full humanoid?”
Neil was shocked. It seems that instead of having his brainwaves transmitted into the android’s body, he actually swapped bodies with the android. The android was now in his human body!
