Class

It was a month after The Great Shift, and things were starting to get back to normal for many people. Amber, however, was still having tons of trouble. This would be the first time returning to the yoga class, which is where she had been when The Shift has occurred. The class looked mostly the same, though everyone was now in someone else’s body. She had been cursing her odds ever since The Shift. She could’ve swapped with just about anyone in the class and been fine with it, but, no, she had to swap with the one dude in the class. The ONE dude! She felt so gross with that THING hanging between her legs, and his body was so inflexible and blocky. She watched her former body move with much jealousy. He looked like he was enjoying himself. He certainly got the better deal out of the swap. He now had her beautiful body! She thought she was strong enough to return to the class, return to where it all happened. But seeing her own body brought up too much pain. Within a few minutes, she ran out of the class crying, vowing to never return again.

However, Kelly was wasting no time in finding a new body of her own. She had one by the end of the day--before going to the cabbie’s home and before reading his journal--She wasn’t thinking about the long term consequences of her pick. She just picked a body that she thought was intimidating. She’d find her own body and threaten the person inside until they promised to give it back. Of course, she had no idea that Eugene would have no way to giver her body back. And Kelly would be stuck in her new body just as Eugene was stuck in Kelly’s body. And so on down the chain of swaps caused by the Magic Taxi.

Three way

“I’m really having trouble wrapping my head around all of this.” Alex spoke, “We arrived home to find this weird three pronged device on our table. We all touched it at the same time and somehow swapped bodies. Now Chris is in my body, I’m in Brittany’s body, and Brittany is in Chris’s body.”

“That seems to be the case.” Chris answered, “Maybe we should all try touching it again at the same time to switch back?”

“What if I don’t want to switch back?” Brittany asked.

Alex looked at her, “What!?”

“I mean, not just yet,” she added, “I’m curious! I want to know what it feels like to jerk off as a dude! Obviously, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity! I want to know what it feels like!”

“That’s MY body you’d be jerking off,” Chris scolded.

“Well, not presently!” Brittany smiled, “Right now it’s mine to do with what I please!”

Karma

Anne had always been a traditional, conservative woman. She believed that men should act like men, and women should act like women. However, the Great Shift would completely shake up her views of the world. She wound up in a man’s body, but she still felt like she was a woman inside. No, she still KNEW she was a woman inside. She did everything she could to hold on to her femininity, often overdoing it. She wore makeup thicker than ever before, telling herself it would hide any traces of a masculine facial structure. She never wore pants anymore; it was always dresses or skirts now. She wore high necked outfits to cover her Adam’s Apple. She looked at herself in mirror. She knew she could still pass as a woman despite what was now between her legs. But as she looked, she realized how wrong she had been for all those years. It was not about your gender on the outside, but what you feel on the inside. Maybe the Great Shift was some sort of cosmic karma to make her realize this. Maybe if she had just known this sooner, things would have been different.

Old man

Ryan felt terrible for his sister Gwen. The Great Shift had really screwed her over. He had been lucky--swapping bodies with a guy about the same age as him. But Gwen ended up in the body of an old man. She tried her best to continue with her life as though nothing had happened, but it was just so awkward to see a senior citizen dressed up like a 20-year-old woman.

Shopped around

Kate watched as her former body stirred awake. William Jenkins had spent nearly his entire fortune to swap bodies with the woman in her early 20s. He was enjoying every sensation, every moment of his new body. After spending $100 million to Kate for the swap, he knew he’d have a tough time adjusting to being rather poor, but it was worth it to be a woman--he was already loving it. As for Kate, she didn’t have much to worry about. She was rich now. Sure, she was a man, but she had already arranged a plan to deal with that. She found a woman willing to swap into William’s old body for a mere $10 million. She’d be rich AND beautiful. She laughed thinking that William should’ve shopped around a little bit...

After Graham's post-Great Shift wedding, he breathed a sigh. He had managed to lie about going to Vegas for his bachelor party, despite now being in the body of a Vegas showgirl--it was quite a feat, and now they went on their honeymoon. His wife's family had planned a surprise trip for them to one of Graham's favorite locations--LAS VEGAS! He groaned when they were greeted by a troup of showgirls--one of them with his old body! Graham's wife shot him the evil eye; looks like it was time to come clean.

Poverty

Kelly couldn't see anything wrong with helping empoverished children in the inner city. She came to the door of the children she was supposed to tutor for the afternoon, which was just plywood where a door should be. However, one of the boys inside was smarter than he pretended to be. After an ambush at the door, he activated a strange machine he had stolen parts for. When Kelly awoke, she found she was in the body of one of the boys she was scheduled to tutor, and that her own body was leaving with the other boy. The boy in Kelly's body snapped at her, claiming that this was the only way he could get out of this poor neighborhood, and he was taking his brother with him!

Fashion Week (Part 1)

Great Shift be damned! Milan Hart wasn't going to let it ruin her socialite lifestyle. She had a free dress to wear at fashion week from one of the industry's top designers, and she was going to go out on the town and wear it...even if the Shift had swapped her brain into the body of a 40-year-old man. She certainly wasn't the only dressed up in clothes inappropriate for their new bodies.

Testing his patience

Trent and his sister, Sally, had ended up swapping bodies as a result of the Great Shift. While Trent adjusting fairly well to his new life as a woman, Sally wasn't doing nearly as well. She'd still go out wearing dresses, despite Trent's objections to how odd it made his former body look. He was doing his best to help his sister through this difficult time, but, quite frankly, his patience was really being tested...

Weight

When the Great Shift swapped Fran and Al's bodies, Fran was happy, but she tried to hide it. She was skinny and male! Meanwhile, Al was overcome with his new weight, especially the weight now hanging from his chest! He found it harder to move, breathe, and almost everything else! The one thing he did enjoy now more than ever though was maturbating!

Ballet

Mrs. Hill felt bad for Maggie. She was the only member in her ballet class that hadn't swapped with another child around the same age after the Great Shift. No, Maggie ended up in the body of an older gentleman who was already so old that he was balding. It didn't change the little girl's spirit, however. She still wanted to do ballet as much as ever! Mrs. Hill felt a little weird instructing the girl, especially now that she herself was in the body of one of her former students!

Chasing after a body thief

Vanessa spied the man out of the corner of her eye while she was painting on the street. She could tell he was scoping her out as easy prey for stealing something. She secured her iPod, bag, and art supplies--she wasn't going to let him have any of it. While the man was going to steal something, her possessions didn't interest him. He got close enough, and Vanessa felt herself ripped out of her body, switching souls with the man. Once in her body, he ran. Grabbing as much as she could, Vanessa quickly chased after the body thief.

Barbershop

The first thought that ran through Sharon's head when the Great Shift hit was if her old body was okay. She did not like the fact that she was now in the body of a man, and hoped that someone would find a way to switch all the people back to normal. It took her only twenty minutes to get down to where her body had been pre-Shift, and other five to locate it inside a local barber shop. She was angry to see the man, a Mr. Steve Willis, getting all of her hair shaved off. She grabbed his hand
and led him outside.
"What!?" Steve explained, "That long hair was too long and girlie. The next thing I'm looking to do is get out of these damn heels and fruity stretch pants!"

Earthquake?

Thinking it was an earthquake, Eric ran into a doorway when the Great Shift hit. She was surprised to no longer be standing near the door after the Shift had pased. She made her way back to where she thought she was, and saw someone who looked strangely like her standing there. She demanded answers.

"I don't know!" Stammered her old body, "My name is Barry. I'm a guy! I don't know why I am in this body! Why I'm wearing these clothes! Or where I am!"

"You're a guy?" Erin asked as she began to process what happened. She looked down to see a pair or very large, hairy hands attached to similar arms. She had become a man, and judging from what she could see, she was guessing she was an unattactive and fat one!

Melissa had finally caught up with the glowing blue ball that had swapped her hair and physique with that of a bodybuilder. She had seen numerous other changes it had made on other people, which made her a little nervous about trying to change back. But before she could think twice, it engulfed her and the bodybuilder once more. When the glow went away she was releaved to see her body was back to normal....but wait...how could she see that? She wasn't looking in a mirror or anything...she looked down to see a muscular MALE body; she had now completely swapped with the bodybuilder! Gross! As she looked over, she was shocked to see the bodybuilder in her body looking down and playing with her boobs! She had said she wanted her body back to normal, but she also meant that she wanted to be the one inside of it!

After Chuck took care of the final few screws, he was ready to give Rebecca her body back. Pulling a few knobs, he activated the machine. At about the same time, two workers from Child Protective Services were knocking on the door. Another incorrect calculation on Chuck's part caused him and his daughter to be swapped with the two workers. Chuck had been in daughter's body for a night, so he was used to being female, but Rebecca flipped when she discovered she was in a man's body, complete with penis. Chuck quickly calmed her down and came up with a plan. They tied their old bodies up in the baement and returned to the government agency to report that they couldn't find the children. Couples Counseling

Each week the four women would get together to gossip about their husbands, the neigborhood, an so on. This week, however, the entire conversation focused around one of the members of the group itself, Tiffany, who had been going to couples counseling with her husband. The psychiatrist had a rather extreme method for the pair to understand each other better: swapping their brains. The other three women bombarded Tiffany with questions: "Did it hurt?"; "What's it like to have a penis?"; "How's the sex?"; "Oh my God! Have you had sex?"; "What about masturbating?"
