Not Fair

Douglas looked over to his girlfriend Anna sitting on the couch. It had been a few months since the Great Shift, and he had really given this thing a chance. He thought he could deal with the fact that she was now a man. He wondered if he had swapped with a woman in the Shift, if it might’ve worked. They could’ve swapped roles or something. But Douglas just swapped with another guy, and Anna had tried clinging onto her former identity.

Even now, she was wearing a floral dress. She had started to grow her hair out, too. She had tried shaving her entire body, but she claimed it grew back too fast, even the beard!

He had only put this off for so long before she often talked about how much she had lost in the Shift. He didn’t want to be one more thing that she’d be losing, but he just couldn’t stay in this relationship any longer; it wouldn’t be fair to either of them...

The Stereotype

Kelly had thought the results of the Great Shift could’ve been worse. She had hated the fact that she had ended up in a man’s body, but she considered being an Asian man the best of a bad situation. Her racist view made her think of Asian men as effeminate, and this caused her to assume she could simply hide her new gender.

She ordered a wig and some clothes that would fit her new body online and waited for them to arrive. It took longer than usual due to the world being in chaos after the Shift. However, after a week, they finally arrived.

She was quick to try everything on and start doing her makeup. As she looked at herself in the mirror, she found her expectations shattered. There was no way she would pass as a cute Asian woman; despite the clothes, the wig, and the makeup, she still looked like a guy playing dress up. Her shoulders were too broad, her chest too masculine, her jaw too square. She had no chance of passing in the way she had hoped.

What Is Love?

It was hard for Diego to believe that he was thinking of calling off his wedding a mere six months ago. It was right after the Great Shift, and his fiancée Marilyn had swapped into the body of a man.

Despite her new body, Marilyn was still the same fun loving woman that Diego had fallen in love with. Diego had to look inside himself; could he still do this? He thought about the times he had experimented in college. Being with a guy had never clicked for him, but he kept telling himself that Marilyn was different.

However, Marilyn could sense his hesitation, and one day asked him he really wanted to go through with the wedding. Diego didn’t sugar coat it. He expressed all his fears and hesitation, his confusion and his love. But at the end of it, he decided -- Yes; of course.

Marilyn had news of her own. She had started taking estrogen. Her body would take lots of time to adapt, but she was committed to transitioning back to womanhood. Diego told her it didn’t matter to him; he would love her either way. But she wasn’t doing it for him; she was doing it for herself. Diego once again responded -- of course.

And now the two are on their honeymoon in Rome. A happy couple as Marilyn transitions slowly back into womanhood, and they both love each other more every day.

Altered Fates (The Movie Trailer)

I don't usually post any videos on this particular blog. (I tend to do that elsewhere.) However, with the advent of AI video, it has really opened up a new way to tell stories, and I honestly couldn't be more excited. I already promoted my YouTube channel last week, but I thought I'd give a shout out to a few of the videos on there by linking them on this site as well. I dunno, I guess I just think they are pretty decent in terms of content. And if people hadn't already sniffed them out or seen them already, now their chance. Also, maybe it helps with SEO? I dunno. I've never been good at SEO; I just like showing off what I do sometimes. I figured it also couldn't hurt to encourage people to like and subscribe and whatnot.

Reception (Part 2)

After some time, Julia and I retreated to our hotel room to discuss just exactly how we were going to more forward from here.

Getting a divorce or an annulment was obviously a no brainer for both of us. She suggested going to courthouse first thing on Monday; I told her it may not be open if everywhere there was body swapped as well. We still were both resolved to go as soon as we were able.

She had never told me how much she hated her sister, but it was all coming out now. Nicole coming to the wedding in a skimpy dress was just the latest in a long line of actions. Hearing Julia talk about how difficult it was to look at my current face was hard for me, but I still listened intently.

I responded by telling her that I did still love her; she said the same. It was a moment that might’ve ended in a romantic kiss if it wasn’t for the fact that I was looking at the body of Nicole’s dad, and I was presently in Nicole’s body.

Man Hands (Part 1)

Noticing something was wrong at first was difficult for Evelyn. Being a little bit stronger or having a slightly easier time opening jars were just barely noticeable benefits of the fact that her hands had grown slightly larger. It was when she tried to slip one of her rings on her finger that she first grew concerned.

Then she noticed the hair on the back of them. These weren’t her hands -- they were MAN HANDS! And if that wasn’t bad enough, the changes only grew over the next few days. Her hair was getting thicker than ever and growing in places she never would ever want it to. Her bras weren’t filling out what was now a much flatter chest. The conclusion of it all was undeniable -- She was turning into a man! But why!? How!?

And it wasn’t just the guys affected by Julian’s potion. Brittany was exactly the type of woman he had been targeting. She often found time to tease nerds like Julian, and she acted entitled and selfish. And yet, she didn’t exactly freak out when she woke up on Saturday morning as a guy. In fact, she saw an upside.

Her dad had always treated her brothers better than her. She had a feeling this was just a taste of what the rest of her life would be like -- with men being treated better than women. But now that she had become a man? Well, the table might finall turn. Perhaps she’d have more opportunities open to her; maybe her opinion would be respected more. At the very least, her dad could no longer treat her differently than her brothers, right?

Not Your Husband

Darcie was shocked seeing her friend in the kitchen wearing one of her dresses. “What are you doing, Susan!?” Darcie asked, “You can’t wear something like that! That’s my husband’s body! If you go out like that, it will humiliate him! We agreed that until he comes back - - ”

“He’s not coming back.” Susan interrupted. “Maybe his plan was to steal my body all along or maybe something happened to him. But we haven’t heard from him for a week. Wherever he had disappeared to with my body, I don’t think we’ll ever see him again. That means I have to get used to being in his body. But just because I’m in a man’s body now doesn’t mean I have to act like a man! So I’m done pretending for you or for him or whoever. I’m going to wear dresses and skirts! I’m going to buy a wig! Maybe I’ll even start going on hormones! I didn’t ask to be stuck in his body; I don’t want to be a man; and I’m not your husband no matter what I might look like!”

Breakdown (Part 2)

“I got it while I was in town,” Jim explained, “They’re practical!”

“They’re practually hideous!” Ami interjected, “If my Instagram followers saw me looking like that...And, speaking of which, where did you get them?”

“You know I went to town. I stopped at the WalMart.”

Ami held back a dry heave, “Seriously?”

“It’s where I bought the parts for your car, too. No one was talking about nothing strange or unusual either, so whatever this body swapping stuff that affected us...we seem to be the only ones. I should still be able to fix your car though.”

“Thanks. Could you try not to get my hands too dirty?”

“Try not to...get your hands dirty?” Jim asked in confusion, “I’m gonna be working on your car. My hands ae gonna get dirty!”

“MY hands,” Ami reminded him, “You may be in control of my body right now, but those are still MY hands.”

“Naw, I get it. I’m just telling you there’s not much I can do about it. And if we aren’t able to swap back, all this talk about dirty hands and not liking each other’s clothes are gonna seem like small taters.”

Ami hated to admit it, but she knew Jim was right.

Breakdown (Part 1)

A day ago, Ami’s car had broken down by the remote farmhouse. Jim extended his rural hospitality to her as best he could, even if he found Ami to be a stuck up and obnoxious city girl. Ami didn’t think too highly of Jim either, perceiving him as a backwards redneck. Still, they both tried to be polite with Jim offering to help Ami with her car, explaining he just needed to go into town tomorrow for a few parts, and Ami being quite grateful in response. The tension between them was unspoken up until the moment they swapped bodies.

For the next few hours, it was a shouting match full of insults before they both finally calmed down. Jim finally decided the plan stayed the same; he’d go into town and get the car parts the next day, but also ask around regarding any strange circumstances. Ami would stay here and watch the television for any news reports about any sort of incidents.

Jim was gone several hours and came back shocked to see how Ami had dressed his body. “Where the hell did you even get clothes like that from?”

“Next day shipping,” She replied, “There’s no reason I can’t make your body look good as long as I’m the one in it!”

“Well, just don’t leave the farm dressed like that. You’ll embarrass me for the next decade.”

“And can we talk about what YOU’RE wearing!?”

“I got it while I was in town...” Jim explained.

The Weird Girl (Part 2)

“What the hell?” Jenna yelled as she saw Chad and Hannah kissing on a bench.

Hannah mumbled, “I thought we had agreed on trying to keep up appearances.”

“This is taking it too far and you know it! And you’re should be looking for a way to turn us back to normal anyway!” Jenna then turned from Hannah to Chad, “And this is like cheating on me!”

“Is it? I mean, technically, you were right here,” Chad then gestured down at the fact that he currently had Jenna’s body, “And, plus, I’m one good lookin’ dude! I mean, I always knew I was, but your body like really feels it. When am I ever going to have the opportunity to be with myself like this?”

Jenna fumed. She knew her boyfriend was egotistical, but this crossed a line. He also didn’t know when to shut up.

Chad continued, “Besides, we used a c*****.”

Jenna slapped Chad as hard as Hannah arm could manage. Then she cried and ran off. She hated being in Hannah’s body, but right now, she wasn’t sure she even wanted her own body back...

A Simulation

You looked out the large windows from your living room to see the beautiful lake your house sat right next life. Life seemed perfect...almost too perfect. It had become fairly typical of your wife Yumi to spoil the moment.

“It’s all fake, you know,” She said with a Mona Lisa smile on her face, “I keep telling you we’re actually in a simulation. None of this is real.”

“Come on, Yumi. It’s feels real. We’re real.”

“We are,” She paused, “But these bodies aren’t. Our real bodies are hooked up to these weird virtual reality machines experiencing all of this! I’m not even a woman in the real world! I’m a dude! And you’re not a guy in the real world either; you’re a chick! I don’t even think we’re married out there.”

“Come on. This is ridiculous. How would you even know any of this?”

“I think my system is glitching. I find myself back there sometimes. I can’t move when I’m there, but I can look around. I can hear things.”

You sighed, “We need to bring you to see a psychiatrist on Monday, Yumi. I worry you aren’t well...”

“Or maybe you’ll learn you are really a woman, and that sort of scares you, doesn’t it?”

The Weird Girl (Part 1)

Jenna had told herself that college was going to be great. She had been a popular girl in high school, and she was positive higher education would be more of the same. Sure, it meant she was going to have to make a long distance relationship with her boyfriend work, but he promised to visit whenever he could. Though once she got there, she met her roommate. Hannah was a weird loner goth-type, and Jenna had a hard time making conversation. It wasn’t long before she was on the phone begging her boyfriend, Chad, to come for his first visit.

Hannah was annoyed by Chad staying in the room and the two of them giggling all night. The weird goth girl mumbled that she was going to curse them, but none of them thought it was serious until they all woke up in the wrong bodies.

Chad was in Jenna’s body, and Hannah was in Chad’s. That meant Jenna was now in Hannah’s body. There was a lot of yelling before Hannah agreed to research any sort of magic she could find to explain any of this and hopefully reverse it. Jenna, of course, hated being stuck in Hannah’s body; she was especially mad most of her own clothes didn’t really fit Hannah’s body. Luckily, she could still wear a few larger items like her favorite pink coat to brighten up Hannah’s dreary style. And as the next few days passed, Jenna just felt miserable. She could only hope that Hannah could do some sort of magic thing to get them all back to normal before Chad had to leave. But as she walked back to the dorm to check on Hannah, she noticed something...

Dirty Laundry (Part 5)

While May was absolutely miserable in the body of Mike’s dad, her mom was actually quite pleased to be in Mike’s body. But she had a confession and she wasn’t sure who else to tell, so she approached Mike’s dad.

When she first got close, he pulled back, but she told him they had to act like Mike and May normally would, and that meant being affectionate and sharing a few secrets. He ultimately relented and let her kiss him. Mike’s dad felt May’s body react to the kiss and hated himself for enjoying it so much.

That’s when May’s mom dropped the bomb. She had intended to steal her daughter’s body; somehow Mike and his dad just got in the way. Despite not being the actual plan, she loved being in Mike’s body and was planning on keeping it -- and if she didn’t swap back, that meant no one would. Mike would be forever stuck in the body of May’s mom; Mike’s dad would be inside of May; and May would be stuck in his body -- all for good. Mike’s dad wasn’t quite sure how to react. He tried to force a smile, thinking it might not be best to piss off a woman who would and could steal someone else’s body so readily.

On the other side of things, May was absolutely devistated being inside the body of Mike’s father. The idea that she was a middle aged man now was just an absolutely depressing thought. The fact that they had no idea how the swapping even happened made her feel like swapping back was hopeless. Maybe if she could talk to someone about all this, she might be able to feel better, but they had all agreed to keep it a secret. The day at work hadn’t been bad so far. She had mostly kept her head down -- though she was digusted going into the men’s bathroom. But what would she do when she had to go home and see Mike’s mom?

Robbed

A few moments ago, Mei had heard noises in her apartment. When she had gone to investigate, something (or someone) had hit her over the head. The next thing she knew, she was looking down at herself. When she placed some laundry under her own head, she noticed the gloved hands she now had -- much larger than her own. She quickly rushed to a mirror to see a man in black looking back. She could only assume the man she was looking at was some sort of robber, and that she had swapped bodies with him after he hit her over the head. That meant he was likely passed out in her body in the other room. She couldn’t call the police; they’d likely just arrest her considering the body she currently had. She couldn’t just leave; trusting the robber alone with her body seemed like a bad idea. She decided to tie him up until he awoke. Maybe he had some answers, maybe he could explain why this happened, and maybe she could force him to swap them back to normal. She didn’t want to be in his body, and she certainly didn’t want him to be in her body either!

Once arriving at the graveyard, Martin was able to succesfully cast the spell and return people to the real world. As the spellcaster, he had to stay behind. He was filled with curiosity. What would they do with his lifeless body? It certainly wasn’t dead. Would he be considered in a coma and go to the hospital? Would the group be blamed for what happened to him? He sighed.

“Hey, Old Man, you just going to stand there all day long? We’re going to need to find a new party!” A voice shouted out.

Martin turned around and smiled, “I’m glad you stayed behind with me, Xira. I think I would’ve been sad to lose all of you.”

Xira smiled back. “Truth be told, everything about this is what I’ve always dreamed of. I’ve always wanted to be a woman, first and foremost. I don’t think I’ve ever told anyone that. And once given that opportunity, I couldn’t give that up--even if it means fighting kobolds for the rest of my life.”

“I’ll fight by your side as long as I am able.”

“Thanks, Martin. You’re a true friend.”

“You too, Xira.”

“The dark elf is right,” A low voice spoke out.

Martin was the youngest member of their group, but he always used the same wizard character he had simply named ‘Martin the WIzard.’ As such, his character was the wisest and had the most experience.

“The quest is not the answer. The way home is through the graveyard.” He said.

“How do you know, old man?” Hissed Arthur.

“It was all there. In her words. At the graveyard, I can send you back to the real world.”

“It sounds like you aren’t coming,” Jenny asked.

“I need to cast the spell. I must remain.”

“Let me cast it!” Jason offered.

“You are not a magic user. The dark elf is too novice. I’m afraid I’m the only choice.”

“I hate to say it, but he may be right,” Althea said.

“She,” Jason corrected.

“What?”

“I am Xira right now, and Xira is a she.”

Althea was worried Jason was getting weirdly into the game. She felt a weird tingle inside her that was trying to tell her something. Her character was mostly human, but was also 1/8 dragon, giving her a few clearly non-human traits (such as her yellow eyes) and the ability to sense things. Was it trying to tell her something about Jason? Or was there danger nearby?

“You feel it, too, don’t you?” Matthew interjected rather suddenly.
