Out to Lunch (Part 2)

Knowing he still had clients to impress, Jack quickly calmed down and headed back to his table. “Well, this is crazy,” he said with a laugh and a smile.

“What’s crazy?” His own body replied.

Jack paused and stopped laughing for a moment before continuing, “I mean, body swapping, come on! It’s so weird!”

The two clients at the table exchanged glances. “We seem to have swapped with each other,” one said.

“Is that what everyone was screaming about?” Jack’s body said flatly, “I guess I was lucky enough to not be affected.”

Jack’s smiled quickly turned stoneface.

Out to Lunch (Part 1)

It was just after noon when the Great Shift struck. Jack had just sat down for a business lunch with a client when he suddenly found himself standing back in the front of the restaurant. He soon realized he was cradling a few menus in his hand and was wearing...a dress? Upon realizing he was now int he body of the restaurant’s hostess, he let out a scream. It was soon followed by others...

Honest (Part 2)

Javier was still happy that he was able to use the magic taxi to swap bodies with someone voluntarily. Still, as he walked the streets with his new body, he wondered what the woman now in the cabbie’s body had planned. She barely hesitated in giving up her own body upon finding out doing so would allow her to pick a body of her own to swap with.

He might find out soon enough. She had told him that she’d come find him once she made the swap. She, of course, knew where her own former body lived. And Javier was curious to know more about her beyond what he was going to learn actually being her...

Wednesday, March 28, 2018

After taking a ride in the cursed magic cab, Javier had his body stolen by the current driver of the taxi. After reading the journal, he knew that he too would have to steal someone else’s body. He felt rather bad about that and soon adopted a very different strategy from past drivers. He found the most eccentric people he could find and decided to be flat out honest with them.

Most didn’t believe him, a few practically jumped out as he told his story, but one rider finally seemed integed. Javier had picked up the woman wearing a puffy pink coat and gold pants and explained his story. Her jaw dropped when she finished.

“You mean that’s not your body? That you had your body stolen? And this cab can do that?” She asked.

“Uh-huh,” Replied Javier.

“So if you were to take my body, I could go on and do the same? I could get any body I wanted?”

“Let’s do it! This will be fun.” And so Javier pulled over, told the woman to “Have a nice day,” and he soon found himself in her body, giving a $50 to the driver’s body, and walking away...

Ryan had always been jealous of Bryant. The two had gone to school together, and Ryan was poor and a hard worker while Bryant was born rich and coasted through life. Long after graduation, Ryan continued to work hard, creating many inventions with little financial success. Meanwhile, Bryant simply inherited his family’s vast fortunes.

Ryan could never let that unfairness go. When he developed a body swapper, Ryan decided he now had a way to finally make things even, but he needed to be able to get closer to Bryant in order to swap bodies, and the two hadn’t talked in years.

And so Ryan called up Nadia, a former classmate that both he and Bryant still both talked to. He felt a little bad about stealing her body to use it as an intermediate, but he had little choice. After calling her over and taking her body, he called up Bryant to schedule a get together.

Bryant agreed to meet a few hours later at the marina. Ryan put on a tight purple dress and went over with a big smile on his face. He couldn’t wait to not only swap bodies with Bryant, but leave Bryant stuck in Nadia’s body for a while.

One Very Specific Purpose

“I’ll be glad when this is finally over. How many more flights do we have to work? Two? Three? I’m not sure my ears can handle the pressure change again,” Isaac complained.

“Tell me about it!” Henry agreed, “These heels are killing my feet! I can’t believe the punishment for smoking in the lavatory is switching bodies with stewardess and having to work a fourteen hour day.”

“I still can’t believe they have the ability to swap bodies!”

“I know! Where has that technology been hiding? And it seems weird to use it for this one, very specific purpose...”

Life Saving

Conor hadn’t remembered falling asleep, but he awoke in a beautiful vacation house. His awe was short lived as he stood up and noticed he now wore a bikini and a pearl necklace...what was even weirder was that he now had a body to fit those things! He walked to a balcony overlooking some trees and the beach. He turned with a worried look on his face when he heard a voice.

“I see you’ve awakened,” Conor was a little surprised to see the CEO of the company he worked for standing there. The man continued, “You’re probably confused right now. Allow me to explain. My wife was dying. The only way to save her was to transplant her brain out of her body using a procedure my company developed. I checked the company’s medical records, and you were the only compatable employee.”

It was a lot for Conor to take in. He took a deep breath before he spoke, “You violated my privacy and stuck my brain inside the body of your dying trophy wife?”

“You don’t understand -- ”

“How long do I have to live?”

“You aren’t going to die, Mr. Lieder. With a healthy brain, her body will be fine; and with a healthy brain, her body will be fine. You will be fine. This is a cure for her! And you should consider yourself lucky to have her amazing body! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go comfort my wife in the other room, who now has to deal with being in the body of a middle aged man!”

“Julie, you need to go back,” Tim sighed, “You were the one who said we had to act as each other as long as our bodies are switched. And you had already agreed to hang out with your friends this weekend, but you know they’d make fun of both you AND me to have your brother tagging along. So for both our sakes, please go! I know you’ve been keeping a close eye on me; I know you’re worried about what I’m going to do to your body when you’re not around, but relax. I’m not going to do anything except hang out with your stupid friends. I don’t even want to do this. It’s all a favor to you, so please just go!”

Harold noticed the change caused by the Great Shift immediately, but it was still a shock when he finally saw the reflection of his new body in a window.

“I’m a woman,” Harold muttered, “I still can’t fucking believe it.” “I know. It’s weird, right?” A voice next to him asked.

“It’s just -- ” Harold was at a bit of a loss for words. He hadn’t thought about all the implications of having a new body. In the end, he just nodded in agreement.

And so Malcolm took an even more basic approach. He decided just to try things like sit ups, toe touches, pus ups, and anything else he could think of that didn’t require a single piece of equipment.

It still didn’t help.

Just the weight on his chest while moving and stretching was enough to make him uncomfortable. Then there was the sweat. It was pooling in places he never even dreamed of before. He couldn’t wait for this all to be over and be back in his own body. He was sure he would look at Amber in a very different light after all this...

The exercise machines kept making Malcolm feel uncomfortable, so he tried switching to something much more lo-tech.

It turned out that the weights weren’t much better. He started by picking out a size that was much too heavy for Amber’s body to handle. He needed to scale back. Even once he found a weight he could manage to lift, he still wasn’t comfortable. Again, Amber’s assets were still get getting in the way -- or mostly just feeling like a hindrance. But he wasn’t going to give up. He had told Amber he’d keep her body in shape, and he was going to find some way to do it!

Engaged (Part 1)

Amber came from a family of warlocks and witches. It was a tradition in her family for a couple to use a magic spell to switch bodies for a week between their engagement and wedding. When she explained this to her fiancee Malcolm, he almost didn’t believe her, but he had seen enough after dating a woman who dabbled in magic to not doubt her.

The swap was to ensure capatability and it often also helped with understanding, but Amber didn’t care too much about those. She knew she loved Malcolm. She told him that while he was in her body, he could mostly do anything he wanted. She’d take a vacation from her job; it would be easy. She did have a single condition, however. He would still have to go to the gym in order to make sure her body stayed in good shape. Malcolm didn’t object. After all, he wanted to have Amber’s body stay fit just as much as she did!

However, hitting the gym proved a bit more difficult than Malcolm had anticipated. Using many of the workout machines proved quite uncomfortable with the large breasts now hanging from his chest. He had never thought about how they might get in th way before, but now that they were attached to him, he was having trouble doing anything without them getting in the way!

“Jerry? Jerry!?” A voice called from behind. It had been a few weeks since he had even thought of himself by that name, so it took him some time before he turned around.

“My name is Emi-” He said as he turned around before he realized who he was talking to you, “Oh, it’s you.”

“Yeah,” Emily replied, “I was just curious how you are doing?”

“I haven’t really thought of it for the past few weeks. It’s been months now since it all happened, hasn’t it? Being Jerry feels like little more than a dream. It’s like I’ve always been Emily -- like I’ve always been you. I remember trying to fight it, but it all seems so silly to me now. I’ve continued my research into the material and have made additional breakthroughs.”

“Now, you’ve got to stop,” Emily insisted, “I know I felt like that before when I was you, but it’s wrong. It’s weird. You need to stop.”

“You’re just scared. And I remember that, but I see now that you were right. It’s not a big deal that I now have not just your body, but your personality, memories, and everything...”

Over the next few works, Jerry did everything he could to not lose himself and become Emily. He started by just trying to maintain who he was. He binge watched sports on television; he slacked and skipped as many classes as possible. Yet it wasn’t long before he found sports boring and he felt guilty about skipping class.

As time went on, his strategy changed. Instead of trying to hold onto himself, he just started trying to do the exact opposite of what Emily would do. He looked at her all-black wardrobe and went out and bought some floral dresses instead. He bought a pair of heels in an attempt to contrast her numerous sneakers. The outfits were all uncomfortable, but he was sure he never saw Emily wear anything like it. He was convinced he could fight it.

In reality, he was just exploring the feminine/girlie side of Emily’s personality that she often pushed aside. He wasn’t successfully fighting anything; it would only be a matter of time before he became Emily in not just body but also mind.

As soon as Jerry saw Emily open a door to the science building, a smile crept across his face. It was probably the only time he had smiled all week. He also managed a meek wave. Emily did wave back, but she wasn’t smiling. In fact, while Jerry was glad to see his own face again, the expression Emily was giving him caused concern. His smile soon faded.

“What’s wrong?” He asked as he approached.

“I just did a scan of my brain,” She sighed, “I’m afraid we’re still too unstable to switch back. But there’s good news; we might not have to swap back at all.” “What!?”

“See, our brains are still in the same state of flux as when we first swapped. In fact, our brains are adapting to our new bodies. We are slowly becoming who we appear to be. In a few more weeks, your brain will be just like mine was. You’ll just start thinking of yourself as Emily. You’ll have my intellegence, my likes, and even my memories. And I’l have yours. For all intents and purposes, it wil be like we never swapped at all.”

“So I’m going to become you?”

“When you think about it, you already are. If it’s bothering you now, when it’s done, I’ll probably be the one actually bothered by the experience. Or rather, this body wil be. I can explain it in more detail if you want.” “My head already hurts enough...”

Friday, March 16, 2018

Jerry sulked as he walked through the parking lot of the science building at the university. He couldn’t believe how he had gotten himself in this situation. His freshman year started off very promising with a full athletic scholarship, but low grades over the course of several semesters ended up putting him on academic probation. By junior year, they had fallen low enough to put his scholarship in jeopardy. The last thing he wanted was to be kicked out of school, so he signed up for some extra credit at the science department.

That’s where he met Emily. She was a quiet girl in the graduate program, who often wore all black, had glasses, and also extremely smart. She had gotten permission to give extra credit to someone for helping her test an invention she had created. When she explained she had made a machine that could swap bodies, Jerry was very apprehensive, but he knew he needed the extra credit.

And so that’s how he ended up swapping bodies with Emily. He begged to switch back right away, but Emily explained it would be dangerous to do so; the brains needed time to settle. They could swap back again after a week. Jerry didn’t like the idea of missing a week of practice, but knew that would be better than getting kicked out completely.

And now after a week as Emily, he stood outside texting her, asking to be let into the science building so that they could finally swap back to normal.

Within a few days, General Winslow was prepared to lead a team back onto the alien ship. They wasted no time using Gerald Clark’s plan to sneak in. David was impressed by his new body’s flexibility and used it to avoid traps and perils aboard the ship. He knew he should probably look on the bright side of having this body, as he was probably stuck with it. If they managed to kill the aliens, it would be unlikely they’d be able to figure out their advanced technology to swap back. And even if they did capture some of the aliens alive, they’d probably just refuse to swap any of them back.

David didn’t have much more time to think before he heard a gun cock. He turned to see a woman pointing a gun at him.

“Drop it, alien scumbag,” the woman said.

“Clark?” David asked, recognizing the phrase as something one of his colleagues had said ever since the ship first landed, “Is that you? It’s me; it’s Winslow.”

“Damn. They did this to you too?”

“I’m pretty sure they did this to all of us. But we’ve got to fight back. If I could just get back on that ship, I’ll certainly make them regret putting me in this body. I just can’t think of a way back onto the ship.”

“I can get us on, but first I need you to confirm you are who you say you are...”

General David Winslow took a moment to collect his thoughts. He was angry, but he needed to calm down and plan in order to figure an appropriate strategy. He held his gun by his side. His should probably first find the other people on the ship with him. They probably also were in the bodies of women -- though he saw bodies on the ship, he wasn’t sure if he’d recognize them. He’d need a way onto the alien ship as well; that could prove to be quite a challenge. So he might not be able to just show up there with guns blazing, but it was still nice to know that he wasn’t going to take being swapped into another body lying down! He was always known in the military for having a cool head and thinking logically; he wasn’t going to abandon that now.

Well, General Winslow wasn’t about to let these body swapping aliens get away with it. If they thought putting him in this body was going to make him docile, they were mistaken. In fact, this body may have been a different gender, but it was also probably about 30 years younger than his own was. He not only had his years of experience, but he also now had a body youthful enough to take advantage of it. He grabbed the nearest weapon, ready to take up arms to protect both his country and his planet. There was no guarantee he’d be able to get his body back, but he could at least take down those damned aliens.

David tried to think back to being aboard the ship. Had he seen anything that gave him clues about why they did this? Had he overheard anything?

Sure enough, he began to put some pieces together. The aliens had seemed to be a male-dominated species to an extreme. The only female aliens he had seen were quite subservient. The thought sent chills up the general’s spine. If they thought humans treated females of the species in the same way, it was possible the aliens swapped David and the other men into women’s bodies for some sort of strategic advantage. Of course, that would also mean they would need such an advantage for some reason. Were they planning an invasion?

He remembered hearing one of the women scream about being abducted. Why abduct them? It seemed like an extra step. Why didn’t the aliens just swap with David and the others themselves? If they had body swapping technology, this would seem like a far superior way to achieve a goal of conquest. Then again, maybe it didn’t work cross-species. Or maybe the aliens just didn’t trust the humans with their alien bodies for some reason.

Invitation (Part 1)

When the alien ship first landed not far from the Pentagon, there was a lot of worry and fear running through the country. It hovered for weeks with seemingly no way to get inside until it finally transmitted an invitation.

General David Winslow was honored to be selected as a member of the military brass who would be meeting with the aliens. His ability to keep a cool head along with his openness and curiosity when the ship first landed lead to his selection. He was set to board the alien ship with other members of the military and a few politicians.

Seeing the ship open was awe inspiring, and seeing the technology inside was even more jaw dropping. The warm welcome didn’t last, however. In a matter of minutes, the humans were amushed. General Winslow tried to fight back, but he was quickly sedated.

He would phase in and out of consciousness, getting glimpses of what the aliens were up to, seeing a device that seemingly swapped the brains of two people.

It wasn’t until he became fully aware again sometime later that he wasn’t just a witness to those experiments, he was a participant! The aliens had swapped him into the body of a young Asian woman! He couldn’t imagine why! He tried to think back to when he caught glimpses of what was going on in the ship. Maybe he could remember something.

Hotel (Part 2)

Kevin held his breath as he listened carefully for a door to open, then close, and finally lock. The man in the room, presumably this body’s husband, had left. He was finally able to have a moment to take this all in.

He knew that he was in the body of a stranger, a woman! The bathroom looked identical to his own, so he guessed he was in the same hotel. Had he swapped bodies with this woman? If he knocked on the door to his own room, could he explain this? Then again, what if his body still thought of himself as himself...or if the woman decided to pretend to be him. He’d seem like a crazy person.

He didn’t want to stick around here too long. If he wasn’t down in the lobby soon, the man would probably come back. That also meant if he decided to leave the hotel, he shouldn’t go through the lobby.

He figured he should at least grab this woman’s purse. If possible, he thought about taking a small bag with a change of clothes; this dress was very revealing, but he certainly didn’t have time to change!

He wasn’t sure if any of this was even a good idea. He just hoped whatever happened would reverse itself very soon!

Thursday, March 8, 2018

Kevin and his wife had just arrived at their hotel for their vacation. He put the bags down and headed into the bathroom. Kevin finished up by washing his hands and was suddenly shocked by his reflection. He was still in what appeared to be his hotel bathroom, but the face of a gorgeous woman now stared back at him from the mirror.

He didn’t have time to react before he heard a knock on the door and a man’s voice, “Our reservation is at seven, Honey. If you don’t hurry up, we’ll be late.”

Kevin turned and quickly tried to think of an excuse not to go with this man. “Why don’t you meet me down in the lobby?” He suggested.

His heart raced at his waited for a response. It seemed like it was taking forever.

“Alright, but hurry up. Please?” The voice replied.

Kevin breathed a sigh of relief. He was still in the body of an unknown woman, but at least he bought himself a bit more time to process this...

Kris turned around to look at Tara. He placed his hand on his hips, taking a feminine stance without even realizing it.

“Are you going to squat down and go or what?” Tara abruptly asked him.

“What?” Was all Kris could seem to mutter out.

“I can’t just wait around here all day for you to pee, Kristen.”

“Kristen? But I’m your boyfriend.” “We should probably get back. You must have gotten too much sun. We come out here all the time to go on these walks to COMPLAIN about our boyfriends, remember? And while I know yours loves it when you wear heels. I still question your choice of footwear for our walk.”

Kris looked down to the heels on his feet. Walking back was NOT going to be fun, and on top of that, he apparently had a boyfriend as well! And there was no explanation as to why he was now a woman either!

Long Walks (Part 1)

It wasn’t uncommon for Kris and his girlfriend Tara to go on long walks that often lasted a few hours. It was on one of these walks when they stumbled upon an odd structure in the middle of nowhere. With no roads nearby, they both wondered how it got there. Kris shrugged, but he saw a few steps and a small bush and decided it wasn’t a bad time to empty his bladder. He excused himself, walked up the steps, and used the bush for privacy.

But when he reached down to his fly, he couldn’t help but notice how much tighter his hands seemed. In fact, they were so tight that it quickly became apparent something was missing! Something extremely important! His manhood! He started running his hands up the rest of his body -- he had been transformed into a woman somehow!

Joanna walked through the market looking for the perfect item to buy herself. She needed a pick me up after being dumped by her boyfriend. She spied a ring at a small stand called Spellsarous.

“That’s a fine item,” The old man working there said as Joanna picked it up, “In fact, there was a young man here just a few minutes ago who seemed quite interested in it. I think he planned to buy it for his girlfriend.”

“Don’t think you’re going to talk me up with a high pressure sales pitch,” Joanna laughed.

“I wouldn’t dream of it,” The old man replied with a smile, “In fact, I’m pretty sure he won’t be back. And, in fact, it’s on the house.”

“Really?” Joanna smiled, thinking it was her lucky day. And in a way it was, she was already much happier as Joanna than she had ever been as John...

John paused on his heels. It was here; it had to be. If he couldn’t find it; he’d never get his body back. But the details of the stand were starting to fade in his mind. The old man with a white beard soon became a white lur in his head, but then he couldn’t remember what the person working the stand looked like at all -- or even if anyone was there working. The name of the stand, Spellsarous, soon shortened in his head to Spells-R-Us before becoming just Spells, and then nothing at all.

But it started getting worse. John noticed he was no longer feeling upset about his ex-girlfriend, but he also realized he couldn’t even think of her name. Other details of his life seemed to be fading as well, but they were soon replaced by others. The last thing he could remember about his old life was his name, John, but that didn’t seem right. She was Joanna...

It had to be around here somewhere. John couldn’t recall quite where the stand was, but he was sure t was nearby. He tried to remember some of the details. There had been an old man with a beard working the booth, and the name was something like Spellsarous. He wasn’t quite sure what that meant, but he was sure he could find it. It had to be here. He was pretty sure it was right here, yet it was nowhere in sight.

Winter Market (Part 1)

With just a little bit of time before the holidays, John was feeling a little depressed. His girlfriend had recently dumped him, and he had no one. He thought buying her a gift might convince her to come back, and he headed to an outdoor holiday market to find something.

He eventually spied a few rings at one of the booths. He picked it up and looked at it. For a moment, he thought it would be perfect. Then his heart sank. He knew she wasn’t coming back. He’d need a fresh start. The only way he’d ever have a chance was to be a completely different person. And just for a second, he wished he was.

He felt strange and suddenly realized he was no longer at the market. It would seem his passing wish had actually come true, and he was now, in fact, a completely different person! Even odder, the person he now was happened to be a woman! It had to be that ring! He needed to get back to that stand and wish for his own body back!

Roll with It

“Well, this is sure to be fun,” Rowan thought while laying on the bed in his dorm and staring at his feet. He had just arrived for his freshman year at college when the Great Shift occurred, swapping him into the body of a female classmate. Classes were canceled for the time being, and kids were welcome to return home if they wanted. Rowan decided to stick around. He was actually pretty happy about his new body and was ready to roll with it...
