Explorer (Part 2)

View Part 1 of Explorer.

Chuck would’ve thought being on a spaceship would be fun, and maybe for a while it was. But there also wasn’t any television or video games or internet or anything else that might keep him occupied. He was bored.

He knew this alien chick said she was just going to use his body to explore, but he started to wonder when she would be back. It had to have been weeks at least.

“Computer?” He asked, wondering if it would respond, “How long has she been gone with my body?”

Sure enough, the computer did respond, “Approximately eighty Earth years.”

“What? No! That’s impossible! It can’t have been that long! My body would be dead!”

“Your body will live for approximately ten thousand Earth years.”

“No, not this body. My original human body!”

“Human bodies live for approximately seventy Earth years.”

Chuck was realizing he was stuck in this body on a tin can orbiting the planet that he had no idea how to fly. And if he couldn’t figure it out, he was going to be stuck here a very long time...

“We discovered it not far from Route 26,” An agent known only as #38.04-b to his colleagues explained. “We immediately set about neutralizing it.”

“It looks almost human.” Agent #95.18-d asked in response.

“It’s not. You should’ve seen this thing when it was alive. I’m pretty sure those large black eyes could steal your soul if it tried. Though our initial analysis shows it does contain some human DNA.”

“Is it some sort of alien-human lovechild?”

“That’s our working hypothesis. We’ll know more after the full autopsy.”

Jason could hear the men standing above him. He knew exactly what sort of unique curiosity he was, of course. When they found him, he could evade them, so he feigned death. His alien physiology allowed him to slow his bodily functions, and he was able to withstand being frozen effortlessly (though it was quite cold). Now he found himself in another situation where he needed to escape, but where could he possible go this time once he did?

Species (Part 3)

Against all odds, Jason escaped from the ship and made his way back down to the planet through a inverse tractor beam. Judging from he fields, he was in some remote farming area. He wasn’t really sure what he was going to do now. Due to the injection of alien DNA, he was probably close to seven feet tall, his eyes were large and black, his cheeks seemed to blush green. He wasn’t sure how he could blend it.

Then again, he wasn’t sure this was even Earth. Sure, it looked like Earth, but the aliens could cross the galaxy; he could really be anywhere.

He coughed. It caused a slight chill down his back, and he began to worry. Would his new alien DNA make him more susceptible to human diseases like in so many sci-fi films? Or maybe this was the alien home world and he was catching the disease that had infected all the women? He coughed again.

Explorer

Chuck had been on a hike when the alien beam zapped him. Most of his body was frozen in place, but he could still move his face. It was an absolute shock to see the blue-skinned alien woman arrive, but he didn’t flinch.

“You’re a brave one, aren’t you?” She asked, “You’re out here all alone, and you aren’t even afraid of something like me. You’ll be the perfect form to explore this planet with.”

“Are you going to steal my appearance?” Chuck asked.

“Darling, I’m going to steal your entire body.”

“Am I going to a husk? Or are we swapping...”

“Oh, you’re curious too! It’s a simple swap.”

“It sounds interesting.”

“It’s also not a choice.” She said as placed fingers on his forehead. They soon felt like knives in his skull, digging out his brain bit by bit.

But then it subsided and he stood there in her body. He felt his new alien form with all his femininity and the strange tail. He spoke now with her voice as he asked, “Should I go back your ship? I mean, you’re totally welcome to explore Earth with my body for a bit, but I think it would be pretty dangerous for me to walk around like this. I think they’d dissect this body on sight for research.”

“This planet is primitive, but I can afford you safety upon my ship.”

“Cool.”

Species (Part 2)

View Part 1 of Species.

Jason wasn’t about to become the incubator for a batch of alien babies! He watched the aliens slow movements and devloped a plan of escape. It was a simple matter of running away at just the right time as they unstrapped him to move him from the transformation table to the mating machine. He felt like he may have been slowed down due to the alien DNA now in him, but he was still faster than the aliens.

But where was he going to run to? An escape pod? A transporter? Would he even know what those looked like?

As he dashed through the corridors, he could understand the propoganda being pumped in through sound. It was trying to play on sympathy. It explained the tragic history of the plague on the alien homeworld that wiped out viable females. The cross galaxy trek was an expedition to find compatable species to prevent extinction. Time was running out if they were to save themselves from extinction.

Jason didn’t care. After being turned into a half-alien female for mating and reproductive purposes by force, there were no amount of words that would invoke any sympathy from him...

Invasion

Will found the device after a meteor crashed in his backyard. He reasoned that a meteor of that size should have caused much more damage, which could only mean it was a controlled landing. And so he explored to find the device.

Using the device proved surprisingly intuitive, but it was what the device did that was an absolute shock. It changed him. At first he had control over how his body changed, but as he used it more and more, the device had plans of its own.

It made him female. It made him more...alien. He could sense he was some sort of hybrid, and the device was planting more thoughts in his head. He had a mission: to reproduce. He retained enough humanity to mate with his felling beings on Earth, but he was also alien enough to pass on the DNA from the cosmos. His offspring would be far better than the average; in a few generations they would take over. This was the invasion. Not little green men running around, but a slower, far more subtle one. And it was in preparation for what was to come.

Species (Part 1)

Jason was screaming. It wasn’t the transformation that hurt, it was just an overwhelming situation. He had woken up on an alient spaceship as he was being injected with a green substance. Changing into a woman was painless, but suddenly being able to understand the alien creatures was something else.

“Is this species compatable for mating?” He heard one of the aliens ask.

“Inconclusive. Though we should attempt.” Another said, “Though even mixed with our DNA, this one is quite ugly.”

“Ugly?” Jason shouted, “And what about consent!? You can’t just MATE with me!?”

The first alien seemed to perk up. “This species shows rudimentary intellect. That is quite promising for viable offspring.”

Aliens!

Chuck screamed as the alien spaceship teleported him down to the center of a remote field before flying off. He had been aboard that ship for the past few hours, being subjected to all sorts of weird experiments. He was among several human participants, and he watched them remove organs like heart and lungs -- and often just as quickly putting them back. When they arrived at Chuck, they looked him up and down and eventually settled on removing him brain.

While the aliens did place all the organs back in people’s bodies, they weren’t exactly knowledgeable as to which parts were interchangeable and which weren’t. When he realized his brain was now in the wrong body, he tried explaining that he wasn’t supposed to be in this body; he wasn’t supposed to be a woman! He could rationalize why they would screw up, but he still wanted his body back! Of course, the aliens had no way to understand any human languages, and so Chuck got more and more angry. The only consequence of this was that the aliens agreed to bring him back to earth first.

He kept screaming even after they were long gone, even though he knew it wouldn’t matter. But in some ways, it just felt good to let his frustration out.

Alien Encounter

“Why can’t you do this?” A frustrated Ed asked as he attempted to use the alien body swapping orb.

“Only my species is able to manipulate the device,” L’xyl explained, “And since I am stuck in your disgusting human body and you are in mine, I’m afraid this is the only way to return to normal.”

“But why would you even do something like if we were going to get stuck?”

“It is a typical greeting to better understand a stranger. A brief swap is simply the norm. But I had no idea your species was so unevolved. For instance, stop trying to use your hands to control the orb; your mind alone should be enough to properly connect it into the location to switch us back. Your hands should simply be for focus and guidance.”

“What the fuck does that even mean? Can’t we just call tech support or something?”

World Domination (Part 2)

View Part 1 of World Domination.

Ready to move onto the second phase, Z’xyw needed to return to his ship and transform back to normal. He quickly encountered a glitch as he tried to transport back to his ship; it didn’t recognize his DNA due to his human disguise.

The solution seemed simple enough, transform back to normal first. This had a glitch of its own. It seemed the planet Earth was so far from K’laxor that the DNA of humans didn’t interact like other species they had previously encountered. They were just too distant and different. Z’xyw attempted to return to normal, but only managed to return his skin to a healthy color and gain just a slight bit of his height. The small changes were not enough to get the ship to teleport him back, and Z’xyw felt disgusted to be stuck in the body of a human. Worse still, he was starting to feel what he could only assume must be human emotions. He could now distinguish the male humans due to an extreme sense of lust. But his new body gave him no clues on how this species mated. His mouth seemed far too small and teeth far too dull to instantly disembowel these “males,” and his claws were far too soft to rip out the men’s eggs for him to impregnate. While much about humans had been so easy to understand, it seemed that Z’xyw still had a lot to learn.

World Domination (Part 1)

On his home planet of K’laxor, Z’xyw was a member of the alpha gender. As such, he was required to infiltrate a species and conquer a planet when he came of age. With many nearby worlds already under K’laxor control, he was forced to reach a distant corner of space thought to be uninhabited. To his surprise, he found a small blue world that seemed to have primitive life.

He abducted a specimen of a dominant species, taking the creature’s DNA and merging it with his own so he could take its form. He blended in and quickly learned the various grunts and groans this species considered to be language. For the time being, he was set to gather information on what these “humans” called “Earth.”

Many seemed quite focused on differences of gender and race, which Z’xyw found amusing. The alpha gender on his planet was five times the size of the twenty other genders. The differences (or lack thereof) between humans was laughably insignificant. They all might as well be indentical to him. Considering the early primitive state of this world, it seemed ripe for conquest. It didn’t take long for Z’xyw to decide the finish up the infiltration phase and move onto the task of domination.

Impossible

Curtis woke up surrounded by weird technology that seemed to come from some sort of sci-fi movie. The bed he was on was like a hard piece of plastic. When he stood up, he felt awkward and off balance; it only took a few moments before he realized he was in a woman’s body. His jaw nearly dropped when the alien entered the room.

“I see you’ve awoken,” The alien said, “I hope everything is alright.”

“It’s not alright! This isn’t my body!” Curtis screamed at the alien.

The alien seemed taken aback. “All human bodies seemed fundamentally the same. We did extensive investigation, which is how yours was damaged. We scanned others of your species on the ground to make copies of the various parts your species has. They didn’t seem much different from what we scanned.”

“Oh, the parts are different! You’d better believe the parts are different! You need to change me back to normal.”

“I am afraid that is...impossible.”

Last One Left

Jason was returning to Earth. The mission to colonize another planet had failed. They didn’t even get halfway there when they were attacked by the alien -- even if they didn’t know it at first. The alien was able to swap people’s bodies around, and take the form of anyone on the ship. Then it would go about systematically killing the crew one-by-one. While Jason’s body was among the first to die, he lived on, constantly being switched from person to person by the alien. It became a process of elimination when he was the last of two left. The other living human had to be the alien, which he promptly killed. This left him alone on the ship floating back to Earth in the body of a woman named Ling Choi. Explaining it all was going to be tough, but he knew that if humanity hoped to get further out, they were going to need a plan to beat this thing. And he could only hope his return to Earth wouldn’t lead more body swapping aliens straight back to home.

Weak (Part 4)

Within a few weeks Frankie went from serving pizzas and making tips to modeling for fashion shoots and speaking on talk shows. She was a national hero who had turned the tides of the war, and many alien rights groups were happy to have her making many public appearances. Her life became downright glamorous, and she loved it.

Before one shoot, a makeup artist took note of two faint scars below her left eye. He explained to Frankie the latest technology could now completely get rid of those.

Frankie explained, “I know, but I don’t want to. They’re reminders. One I got in the war. It’s reminds me of the horror and the people we lost. The other this body had when I was swapped into it. I saw how the aliens treated their women. It’s a reminder that no one deserves to treated like that, that we are all equals, that no one should be subject to the status of a second-class citizen. We still have a lot to work on that regard, and can never become like they were. We must always do our best to rise above that”

Weak (Part 3)

View Part 2 of this story.

With the war over and new technology taken from the defeated aliens, humanity found itself entering a new age of peace and prosperity. Space travel developed and new worlds were discovered and poverty and crime were nearly elimated back on Earth.

Not everything was perfect, however. Like many, Frank (who now went by Frankie to better fit the fact that he was now a she) had some struggles adapting to his new situation. She often felt the discrimination of people who only saw her as an alien, as an invader, due to her body. She was often turned down for roles she was qualified for, and ended up working as a waitress serving pizzas. Her tips were still lower than those who had human bodies and people shouted things like “green monster” behind her back. She tried to keep a low profile about her role in the war, but it wasn’t too long before a customer figured out who she was and her contributions.

Weak (Part 2)

View Part 1 of this story.

Frank was keenly aware of how much more alert his alien body was to the world around him. He could instinctively tell who was really human and who was an alien swapped into a human’s body. He knew humanity wouldn’t trust him since he was inside this body, so he had to work alone.

At least at first.

As it turned out, Frank’s greatest influence may have been on his fellow humans still trapped aboard the spaceships swapped into the bodies of alien women. He inspired their escape; their revolt. It was a way to take the alien ships down from the inside, and it proved to be a pivotal turning point that resulted in humanity winning the war. The alien force retreated, leaving behind a great deal of technology, a few alien deserters, and many humans (like Frank) trapped in the bodies of alien women.

Weak (Part 1)

When the aliens landed, humanity didn’t know how to respond. They were taken aback when one of the aliens seemed to swap bodies with a man in order to communicate. They claimed to come in peace, but they were secretly swapping with thousands of humans to amass an army. They picked the biggest, strongest, and the healthiest, leaving those human trapped as alien females in cages on their ships.

Frank was one of those men now in an alien body trapped in a cage. He scoffed when the aliens called females of their own species ‘weak.’ He knew being strong was about more than physical strength or the body one had. He swiftly developed a plan to break out of a cage and steal an alien ray gun. He managed to escape the entire ship only to find the Earth plunged into war with the aliens on the surface. Those damn aliens were about to find out just how not ‘weak’ Frank was. It was ass-kicking time!

In Space No One Can Hear You Swap

The power on the space station went dead so suddenly. We all had to rush into our spacesuits for fear the backup life support systems could go at any moment. In fact, that’s exactly what happened, but it didn’t end there. We all blacked out and awoke floating in space, and each member of our international crew found we were now in each other’s bodies.

I had been an American, Colonel John Spence, but now I was in the body of the Chinese scientist onboard, Xie Wu. And she found herself in my body. My colleague, Captain Susan McAllister, was not in the body of the Russian Yuri Petrov. Petrov was in Lyam Durand’s body. Durand was European, and he was now inside of Susan’s body. I considered the phenomenon the result of truly unknown origin, but Petrov and Durand were sure it was evidence of aliens. There didn’t seem much point in arguing, and even being stuck in the wrong body didn’t seem to matter much if we only had a few hours of oxygen left in these suits. But then we noticed the lights going back on at the station. A short space walk back and we were saved, but now we were all going to have to deal with the very real problem of being in the wrong bodies.

Abduction

Gene adjusted his glasses in disbelief at the object he saw in the sky. It was like a strange floating disc, and there seemed to be a beam of light coming from it pointed straight toward him. In the next moment, the disc disappeared and the sky became a darker color. Gene wondered for a moment if he had imagined what he saw.

But it was no illusion. Gene did indeed seeing a flying saucer. The aliens inside beamed him inside. They performed all sorts of experiments on him to try to figure out how humans worked. They removed organs; they put organs back; they wiped memories. When the aliens had finished, they placed Gene and the other humans they experimented on back. Of course, not quite understanding how humans worked, they weren’t picky which organs went back in which human. As long as the body continued to survive -- which was easy with their technology -- the aliens were satisfied. Gene’s brain, for instance, was placed in the body of a woman they abducted.

Gene began to tell himself he must have imagined it and began to walk back to his car. It took only two steps before he realized something was wrong. Whatever he had seen clearly had done something -- it had swapped him into a woman’s body! How was such a thing possible in only an instant? He didn’t even know he had been on the ship or that a full day had passed...
