“We discovered it not far from Route 26,” An agent known only as #38.04-b to his colleagues explained. “We immediately set about neutralizing it.”
“It looks almost human.” Agent #95.18-d asked in response.
“It’s not. You should’ve seen this thing when it was alive. I’m pretty sure those large black eyes could steal your soul if it tried. Though our initial analysis shows it does contain some human DNA.”
“Is it some sort of alien-human lovechild?”
“That’s our working hypothesis. We’ll know more after the full autopsy.”
Jason could hear the men standing above him. He knew exactly what sort of unique curiosity he was, of course. When they found him, he could evade them, so he feigned death. His alien physiology allowed him to slow his bodily functions, and he was able to withstand being frozen effortlessly (though it was quite cold). Now he found himself in another situation where he needed to escape, but where could he possible go this time once he did?
