Lucas stepped into the room with an aura of confidence as he touted his invention to his roommate, Adam. It wasn’t the first time Lucas had done this sort of bragging, and every other time, the invention flopped. Adam simply asked if Lucas had his share of the rent money.
But Lucas was undeterred by Adam’s attempt to change the conversation. He had literally made an invention that could change one thing into another with a simple press of the button. He demonstrated its power by transforming Adam into a bleached blonde woman.
Adam wasn’t exactly pleased by this transformation and snatched the device from Lucas. His thought wasn’t to change himself back to normal but to get revenge, aiming the device at his roommate without any understanding of how it actually worked.
Adam was more than shocked to see his roommate transform into a small mouse. Unfortunately, mice couldn’t speak nor did they seem to be able to generate enough force to press buttons on the device. Adam leaned down to the floor to observe his now rodent roommate and realized this was bad.
He had no idea how the device worked; no idea how turn himself or his roommate back to normal; and he was sure anything he tried would likely only make things so much worse...
