Hard to Argue

It didn’t matter where Jorge went, reporters would swoon in an attempt to get an interview. He wasn’t surprised. After all, his brain was the first to be successfully transplanted into another person’s body. The donor body was a young woman named Sofia. Neither her nor Jorge had consented to the transplant and the procedure had been done in secrecy with no government oversight. All this made for a very compelling story, yet Jorge was usually quite shy about the whole thing. It was only in a moment of extreme frustration that he spoke this time about his feelings on the matter.

“I’m thankful to be alive,” Was his answer to one reporter, “My body was sick. I didn’t have long to live. What Dr. Collins did was illegal and against my will, but it’s hard to argue with being alive.”

Marketing, Sales, and R&D (Part 2)

Eileen’s grin grew as she brought Gavin down to R&D. He was beginning to feel a little bit skeptical, but he knew he really needed to improve his sales. Eileen pulled a small item out of a drawer and instructed Gavin to grab the other end. Once they were both touching, they would swap. Gavin couldn’t believe this was it. He expected a large invention with chairs and helmets or something. He was starting to think Eileen was just trying to mock him. Reluctantly, he touched the item, and sure enough, he found himself in Eileen’s body. He knew she had explained to him what it would do, but Gavin still couldn’t believe it had actually happened. This device could be huge, and he had the inside track. He knew he couldn’t tell his clients outright, but he was always allowed to drop hints. He couldn’t wait to get a leg up on all the other salespeople. But first he had to swap back with Eileen, of course!

SwapMe (Part 2)

Aaron didn’t even notice the swap until he sat down at his desk and reached down toward his pocket where he kept a pair of earbuds -- only to find that he no longer had pockets. He was shocked. Instead of his pants, he had a short, white skirt on. Even from the first person perspective, he could recognize the body he now had, the body of the woman downstairs! He began to panic until his co-worker Ryan came along.

“What’s wrong?” Ryan asked.

“Do you know who I am?” Aaron asked.

Ryan looked puzzled, “Aaron, are you alright? Did you break a nail or something?”

This time it was Aaron’s turn to look puzzled. Ryan seemed to know who he really was, yet he also seemed to fully aware that he had a woman’s body. It just didn’t seem weird to Ryan. “Do I look strange to you? Am I wearing anything weird?”

Ryan shrugged, “Is your skirt too short or something? It looks fine to me. I think it fits within the dress policy.”

Aaron still hadn’t realized the cause of the swap was the app on his phone. All he knew was that his co-worker didn’t see anything wrong here. Was Ryan he only one? He grabbed flyers promoting the company’s holiday party, needing an excuse to walk around the office. He began handing a few out whle forcing a pleasant smile. A few people addressed him by name, but no one seemed to think it was weird that he was now a woman.

Stay Fit (Part 2)

The weird thing for Bruce was that he wasn’t sick of the exercise. Considering his formerly out of shape body, he never expected to be actually enjoy exercising, but in Natasha’s body it was a breeze. It was the fact that she wouldn’t ever stop telling him what to do. For instance, she insisted he use a certain size weight, even if he wanted to try out one that was heavier. He knew her body could handle it. On top of that, he had to watch her in his own body continue to progress, going from lighter to heavier weights, getting more toned and fit. Despite the fact that he was probably in the best shape in his life, it made him feel like a weakling. Bruce always had feelings of inferiority; it was part of what had caused his overeating in his previous body. Natasha’s workout demands had helped at first. They had given him a confidence he certainly wasn’t used to, but after several years, his natural emotions dragged him down. He felt like he could do more, that her demands were belittling of him, and he was ready to prove to himself that he no longer needed her.

It didn’t work! Thomas was furious. He had known it was a long shot, but he had still been so hopeful. Perhaps he had built his hopes up too much. He knew he was stuck in this body. The thought made him so angry that he began to take his anger out on his work. As he smashed it to bits, he suddenly realized all was not lost. He might not be able to go back to his own body, but with the lens he could still become anyone ELSE he wanted. Any man, any woman, anyone! Maybe he got a little too angry too soon...
