A plan

“I know we’re in a bad situation here, Tammy, but we need to get away from this damned mad scientist.” James paused as he took a drag on his cigarette, “He’s got us locked in a cage! I know he used a machine to switch are bodies, and I’m not comfortable being you any more than you are being me. And, yes, if we leave now we may be stuck in each other’s bodies forever, but have you seen some of the people in the other cages? There’s some freaky things that this wack-job is up to. I’ve seen a body with two heads; I’ve seen a guy with arms where his legs should be. Being in each other’s bodies is lucky compared to some of the things I’ve seen. We need a plan to get out of here.”

Words

Once Joe started to read the strange words in the ancient book he found, he couldn’t stop reading. Even as he noticed all sorts of strange chances to his body, he still couldn’t stop. It must have been some sort of ancient spell, and it was transforming him into a woman. And the worst part was that he just couldn’t stop reading as his body became more and more feminine with each and every word.

Exceeding expectations

The baseball coach assessed his team after the Great Shift; it didn’t look good. Three of his outfielders were in the bodies of people over 80, his shortstop was a baby, and his third base man wasn’t much better as a toddler. The one surprise was his star pitcher. He hadn’t expected Tony to be much good when he walked up to the plate in the body of a buxom Asian woman, but it seemed like he actually improved in his new body. He never expected the body of such a tiny woman to be so good at the game, but Tony was happy to shatter expectations.

Immigrant (Part 2)

Miguel continued to look in horror as border patrol arrested his body. He wondered if the body he was currently in was a legal US citizen. He began to check pockets for ID, but the tiny jean shorts had no pockets. He hoped the border patrol didn’t look up here and start asking him questions. He wouldn’t even know what to say his name was!

Group session

Dr. Stanley Franks had been an expert on gender psychology, and after the Great Shift he founded a support group to help men who were now in the bodies of women. He was surrounded by a rather large group as he took to the microphone to address the crowd. He spoke about his own experiences dealing with being a woman and his own new sense of empowerment. However, he couldn’t feel like he was lying--every night he had to attend his own therapy session to explain how he was actually struggling to deal with his new gender. He felt like such a hypocrite.
