Mirror
Trent couldn’t believe the gorgeous face that now stared back at him from the mirror. Miranda had told him that he could borrow her body any time he wanted, but he never believed that such a promise would ever be able to be fulfilled. Yet here he was inside her body, looking in the mirror at the flawless features that were (at least temporarily) his. He wondered why Miranda would be so quick to let him borrow such a vision of perfection, and to give him the option to do this whenever he wanted? It seemed unimaginable. Then again, she also hadn’t specified when she wanted her body back. In fact, she hadn’t even seem to give it a thought. Trent didn’t want to bring it up. If she let him stay in her body forever, he knew he would enjoy that. He hoped that was a possibility!
Flatlined
Despite being unable to move after his car accident, Martin remained extremely lucid. He could remember police and paramedics arriving; he could remember being brought into the hospital. He watched the doctors and nurses as they tried to save his life, but then he flatlined. He thought that would be the end -- he’s either go to an afterlife or things would go dark -- but instead he was still in the room, quite aware of his surroundings.
“Nurse, please, I need a respirator,” A doctor said, “Nurse! Now!”
It took Martin a moment to realize the doctor was talking to him! Martin had somehow possessed one of the female nurses! If the doctors saved his body, would he go back. He wasn’t sure how he was going to help without the proper nursing training. He just grabbed the closest thing, placed it on his own body, and hoped it was correct!

Marketing, Sales, and R&D (Part 1)
Working in marking, Eileen Liu often had access to some of the strange things her company’s R&D department developed. One item in particular had caught her interest lately, but she couldn’t find anyone in her department who would agree to use it with her. And that’s when she ran into Gavin from sales. His numbers were down. He needed to catch the buzz on something before the rest of the team. Eileen saw this as an opportunity. She explained the device to him. She explained the device was a bodyswapper that could switch two people’s bodies. She told him that none of the other sales people knew about it. Gavin doubted her claims, and she knew she had her opening. She said she’d show it to him, and she could prove it would work. She smiled, knowing she’d finally get the chance to test this thing out!
Kick Some Ass
As Earl went into his garage to pick up the biggest gun he owned, he was still trying to figure out the aliens’ plans. Why had they abducted him? And why did they put his mind into the body of a busty blond woman? He was trying to think of any sort of tactical advantage they hoped to achieve. It just didn’t make any sense. He wasn’t anyone special. He wasn’t in the military and he didn’t have any sort of high-ranking job in government or at a company. He ran a carwash. Why let him go at all? They could have easily kept him aboard their ship. Was switching his brain into the body of someone else part of a plan to make his story seem less credible? He was pretty sure that no one would believe him about an alien invasion even without tales of body swapping. He had so many unanswered questions, but he realized they didn’t matter. He had only one purpose now: to kick some body swapping alien ass!

Breakthrough
As a result of the Great Shift many scientists redirected their work to attempt to reverse the effects of the Great Shift. For many of them, the motive was profit, but for Doctors Franz Leicher and Sarah Klein, the motivation was personal. Previously, the two had read each other’s work but never met in person. However, as luck would have it, the fate of the Great Shift caused the two doctors to switch bodies with each other resulting in an intimate personal and professional relationship immediately. Their studies were seen as a bit of a dream team. Sarah’s knowledge of chemical biology was unmatched, and Franz’s research on the brain had yielded some of the greatest advances in the past decade. Despite their vast knowledge, the two never seemed to develop a way to reverse the results of the Great Shift.
