Needed to Go

It was one of the moments Harvey had been dreading ever since the Great Shift plopped him into a woman’s body: using a public restroom. He was sure it was cleaner and nicer than the men’s room, he just wasn’t comfortable with the idea. Despite his outward appearance, he still thought of himself as a man. Even considering going into the women’s room just seemed strange to him. Sure, he had gone at home and gotten used to his new body there, but this was still feeling like uncharted territory. But what choice did he have? He really needed to go!

Mystery Market (Part 1)

Driving across the country seemed like a good way to spend spring break. Bill and his two friends had made it about halfway when a detour brought them off the highway. Arriving in a small town, they found a strange farmers’ market that seemed a little mysterious. All the vendors seemed to be older and often sold some of the strangest items. Only Bill had bought anything. The other two friends started to make fun of him, and soon started to make fun of the elderly vendors as well. Soon, all eyes were gazed upon the three men. Weird words were spoken and the next thing the three college aged men knew, they had been swapped into the bodies of three elderly women. They all were in a panic, except Bill. He was smiling.

“What are you so happy about?” Snapped one of his friends.

“You’ll see,” He said as he pulled some flowers out of the bag he had bought.

SwapMe (Part 3)

Aaron made his way back down to the lobby as quickly as he could. He wanted to run, but he also didn’t want to draw too much attention to himself. He looked for the woman he had seen earlier, whose body he now had. He wasn’t sure if she’d be standing there with his body now or if she’d still have her own body or what. He was hopeful at first, but when after he looked around, he didn’t see her anywhere. He wondered if she now had his body and either freaked out and ran away or went looking for him. Maybe she had kept her body and had just continued on to whatever appointment she had scheduled. He figured he should be thankful that he could continue his life as though nothing had changed, though it was still strange to him that no one thought it was odd that he was now a drop dead gorgeous Asian woman, but at least he could keep his job -- though spying the company directory he did notice that he was now listened as “Erin” instead of Aaron.

Lose Track

Just how, exactly, does one lose track of where their own body is? For that matter, how does one end up in someone else’s body in order to be able to lose their own body in the first place? These were questions that Ethan was asking himself as he retraced his steps. He didn’t even notice that he was in the wrong body until he got home to reach into his pocket for his keys only to discover that his pockets were empty -- and the pants they were on were far tighter than he was used to and on a far more feminine frame than he was used to. He had swapped bodies with a woman -- but how and when!? He thought back. He knew he had his phone in the park earlier, he had used it to take a picture before putting it back in a pocket. He quickly returned to the park nearby, but there was no sign of his own body. Where the heck could it have gone?

After paying for the fake, he plopped it into his purse and started to walk out of the store. His heart was starting to race as he thought about it. Could he really pull this off? He was sure the fake medallion would fool Hannah; it just had to! Still, what if it didn’t? He thought about just running far away now, taking Hannah’s body and just going someplace where she’d never find it. No, he had a plan. He had to stick to it. He was sure it would work!
