Bet

Ted picked himself up off the floor. There was something wrong with his body -- really wrong -- in fact, it wasn’t his body at all. He tried to think about what happened to him just before the collapse. He had been playing pool; he lost. He had placed a bet just before hand. What was it? Oh, yeah, anything she wanted. He couldn’t imagine that what she wanted was his body. It seemed impossible. Yet, here he was. He was now her. He could only assume she had run off with his body. He didn’t want to think about it. Of course, he didn’t want to think about what was right in front of him now either.
