The student:faculty ratio at Kyle’s college was 1:14. That meant when the Great Shift happened, there was around a 93% chance that he should’ve swapped with another student. How the heck did he end up in the 7% and swap with one of the librarians?
All the odds suggested he’d swap with one of his classmates and stay young. Maybe he could’ve even gotten an upgrade -- go from nerd to jock or something? But, no, this was definitely a step down for him. He was 50 years old! He was getting gray hair! He could feel the way his bones ached! It was all awful!
And for the time being, until they could sort out who was who, he was still having to do her job in the campus library. Maybe this all wouldn’t be so bad if he could just get back to class.
