Not many people swapped into a body thousands of miles away from their own as a result of the Great Shift, and Chase had to imagine that even fewer found themselves in the body of someone living in a tropical paradise -- and even among those, to find themselves in the body of a beautiful woman lounging on the beach in a bikini? Well, Chase actually felt pretty good about this whole “Great Shift” thing.
It just felt laid back and different here. Far from his stressful job and cramped apartment in the city. Everyone even seemed chill about swapping bodies and helped each other out -- which was certainly helpful considering he swapped into a body whose identity he didn’t know and not wearing very much.
This was paradise.
