Wanted in seven states and the law was closing in, I needed an out. That crazy old man promised that he could make it so no one would recognize me.
He was right.
I didn’t even recognize myself anymore. And I don’t think any sheriff would see the pretty little lady looking back at me from the mirror and think she was the brutish man responsible for dozens of robberies and several shoot-outs.
I was worried I might not be taken seriously in this new form. But money talks and thanks to all that I had done, I had plenty of it.
