Wasting No Time

Jason didn’t waste any time once he realized he was no longer in his own body. He unzipped the leather jacket that he now found he was wearing and reached a hand inside. An evil grin appeared on his face. This was everything he had always dreamed of; everything he had ever wanted. He wondered how it happened; how he suddenly became a woman. He didn’t really care. The answers would come in slowly over the next few hours. News about a “Great Shift” and how he wasn’t the only one in a new body. Everyone was going to be stuck in their new bodies, and Jason couldn’t have been happier to hear that.

Insistence

Gerald wondered how long Akira could keep her insistence up. It had been a month since the Great Shift swapped him into her body, yet she still arrived outside his door every day at 5am. She wanted to make sure she was there before she awoke. She would put a blindfold on him before allowing him to change into a swimsuit. He could take the blindfold off in order to shower, but then he had to put him back on as she helped him change into an outfit she selected. She would return at night to blindfold him again when he changed into pajamas.

Gerald couldn’t imagine how tired she must be at this point. He also didn’t want to tell her how silly she was being. What did she think he did when he was alone at home late at night? Did she not realize he regularly used the bathroom throughout the day? Why did these moments not concern her? Maybe the whole changing was just something she was clinging to, hoping the Great Shifts effects would just wear off or something. Gerald knew how foolish that hope was; he knew Akira’s body was his now for good, but he still let her keep her hopes alive...

Blackmail

Xander had drained every last dollar from his bank accounts and placed the money into a black bag. Then he arrived at the parking garage and made his way down to the basement. This was where the blackmailer told him to meet if he wanted his body back.

Of course Xander wanted his body back! He was confused when he found himself in the body of a woman, and the week he spent in this body was miserable. He had gotten a period; he had been hit on in the street. He just wanted to go back to being a guy again. No price was too great.

But in the garage he just waited. The blackmailer never came to collect, never offered further instructions. Xander realized something may have happened to his blackmailer, and he might never get his own body back!

Regrets (Part 2)

Todd heard his cell phone ring several times, but he kept ignoring it. He was tired. After a late night at a bar, he still couldn’t believe he ended up hooking up with Brittany. It was still early; who could possibly be calling? While his cell phone was easy to silence, the land line he still owned was much more difficult to ignore. He finally grumbled as he picked it up.

“Todd, is that you?” A voice on the other end asked. It seemed familiar, but he couldn’t quite place it.

“Yeah, this is...” Todd paused, feeling like his voice sounded strange, “This is Todd.” He repeated it, but something still sounded off.

“You’re not going to believe this, but it’s Brittany.” This seemed strange to Todd as it certainly sounded like a guy on the other end of the phone. She spoke quickly about finding herself in his body, how they must have swapped. Todd wasn’t following at first; he was just too tired. But as he slowly woke up, the realization that he now had Brittany’s body instead of his own was dawning on him. He screamed into the phone, cutting Brittany off mid-sentence.

Regrets

Waking up the next morning, Brittany immediately regretted her one night stand with Todd. Decided against waking him, she got ready as quietly as she could. She put her dress on from the night before in the dark; it felt tight and awkward, but she chalked that up to her confused feelings about going home with Todd. She was still exhausted and just wanted to get home. The world was blurry as she got onto the bus back to her own apartment; she fell asleep in her seat. She was so worried and tired that she hadn’t even noticed her body -- she had somehow swapped with Todd while they both slept. It was his manly body that she had managed to squeeze into her dress. It was his body she now had as she slept on the bus. She wouldn’t even notice until just before arriving home...

Dat Ass Doe

Craig had been a little embarrassed by the body he ended up with in the Great Shift. He had been texting with his friends and family to let them know he was okay, but he hadn’t left his home for the most part.

Finally, his friend Michael texted to ask for a photo, which (after some convincing) Craig responded with a selfie.

“U a chick now, bro!?” Michael replied.

Craig sent back a simple, “Yeah.”

“Dat ass doe,” Michael sent back before pausing briefly to also send, “I’d hit it.”

Craig wanted to throw his phone into the wall in frustration except Michael sent a third text first, “Or I would hit it if I wasn’t a chick now too. And my booty is even bigger!”

Monday

Brad sighed when he arrived to work on Monday. He was sure it was going to be another long, boring week. However, just as he started to break into some reports he had to take care of, the image on his screen changed. In fact, his entire desk seemed to have changed. But it wasn’t his desk that was the problem, it was his body! He was an entirely different person, a woman! An announcement soon came over the office’s emergency system. The building was in lockdown mode; no one would be allowed in or out. An group of anti-government had claimed responsibility for the body swapping. They were saying that if people were someone different every day, the government wouldn’t be able to track them, enforcing laws would be meaningless as you couldn’t guarantee you had the right person, and so on. This building was just the beginning. Next time it might be a whole town or county. Brad just sighed as he thought about the inconvenience, made his way back to his desk, and continued to work. By the end of the day, they had brought in outside security to scan everyone on their way out. Brad wasn’t sure quite what they were looking for, or even if they could be sure of guilt if they found someone with something they wanted, but he was happy to finally be able to leave work -- even if he was going to have to go home with this woman’s body instead of his own.
