Allen looked down the street. He had just been standing a few feet away, but the Great Shift changed that, plopping him into a new body. He could tell he wasn’t the only one to suddenly find himself in an unfamiliar skin, the commotion on the street seemed to suggest everyone was going through the same thing. He tried shouting out to his old body, but it was lost amongst the many screams of confusion.
