Max knew investigating the parent company of the television station where he worked was dangerous, but he had no idea of quite how dangerous it would be. When he began to uncover the disappearance of low level workers, his boss told him to kill the story. He didn’t. He kept digging.
When he discovered the workers were being digitized by the company -- to bring about a next level AI program -- he was ready to break the story wide open.
The company wasn’t about to let that happen.
They decided to trap Max as they had so many others -- into the digital world he went. And even his identity was taken from his, his formed changed. And he was trapped as a woman only in television screens and computer monitors, and if he dared speak of what he found out? Well, his signal would then just be cut before he could.
