“It’s not real. It’s all a simulation.” Nathaniel muttered under his breath. The screens in every room reminded him of this simple fact, because it was so easy to forget -- because everything did feel so real.
The steam coming out of the locker room showers felt thick in the air, the right mixture of warmth. The cold tiles on the ground. The look and feel of everything. Even the body he now had, which was an athletic woman’s and quite the opposite of his own. He could feel the fabric, he could feel every muscle respond as if he had her strength. He could also feel every feminine aspect of this body if he so chose to.
And yet he had to remind himself it wasn’t real. He could be taken back at any time. And if he wasn’t for the constant reminders, he would absolutely lose himself in here....
