Entire Week (Part 1)

As Russel exited the car, a photographer snapped his photo. It was the kind of behavior he’d have to get used to for the next week, and it was exactly what he had been expecting. He had paid a hefty fee to switch bodies with the famous model for that time. The body swap company that arrange the swap had been a little surprised by Russel’s request. It wasn’t common for a man to request the body of a woman, especially a high profile one. Most people liked to stay under the radar during their swapped period and swapping with someone less known was certainly much cheaper. But Russel wanted to be out there, and he wanted to be female. He liked the attention, and he was going to soak it in for the entire week.

Poor

Lucas sure hoped someone found a way to reverse this whole Great Shift thing soon. Quite frankly, he was sick of being stuck in this woman’s body. It was one thing to be female, that he could get used to, but being poor? There was no way he was going to suffer through that part of this any longer than necessary. Today, he had to carry things from the store and take the bus! He couldn’t believe how crowded and difficult the trip was. He had filed a legal challenge to his original body and his vast fortune, but proving who he really was would be tied up in the courts for at least a year. Until then, he’d have to suffer with this terrible life. Or until a person found a way to reverse the whole thing and get everyone back to normal. He was sure that he wasn’t the only one hoping for such an option.

The Lamp (Part 1)

How long had it been since Ron made that careless wish to set the genie free from her lamp? A few days? Months? Years? He had no way to tell. Time didn’t seem to even exist in a meaningful sense as long as he was trapped in the lamp. He had no idea that wishing to free the genie would cause him to take her place! Now he was the one stuck inside the lamp, stuck inside the beautiful genie’s body as well. He had become her, and now all he could do was wait for someone else to find the lamp. His only hope was to try to trick whoever found it next in the same way he had been tricked. Then they would be the one stuck in here, stuck in this body. But he was growing impatient.

Everyone was somewhat relieved to hear Larry explain that they weren’t the only ones who had switched bodies, but it was only a mild comfort. Lina asked John to step aside with her for a bit.

“I am glad more people are swapped.” Lina explained to John, “It certainly means my husband will have no expectations. I hope he is swapped as well. I hope he is swapped into the body of a little girl! Do you mind if I use your body to boss him around?”

John didn’t want to ask Lina about the nature of her problems with her husband. He just assumed they were bad, and he was glad he wasn’t going to be forced to deal with them. He just responded to her question with a shrug and a simple answer, “Sure. Why not?”

In the elevator up to the man’s room, Al found himself making out with the guy. In his room, the passion continued, but Al had to stop himself. He had his hands and the waist of his skirt, ready to take it off and jump into bed with this guy. But he stopped himself just before doing that, completely baffled by his own actions. He ran out as fast as he could and returned to his own room in an attempt to collect his thoughts. He had never expected things to go down like this, and he began to wonder how his was going to grapple with these memories once he left Exchange Island and got back to his own body.

Operational

“...And unfortunately, if I calculated correctly, we need to repair the body swapping device by tonight otherwise we will be stuck in each other’s bodies forever,” Ivan pointed to the diagram while addressing his fellow scientists. The small team had stumbled upon body swapping technology last week, but have yet to fix the device that caused the swap in attempt to duplicate the results. Ivan was stuck in the only female body within the group, and he report was troubling to many in the room, especially considering they didn’t expect to have the device operational again for a few more days.

Skate or Die

Everything went dark, and Jim suddenly felt cold. He wondered for a moment if this was the end. If he had gotten hit by a car he hadn’t seen or struck by a falling object and this was the result -- the end? It got worse when he saw a bright light. It took him a moment to not panic and come to realize it was a spot light. He wasn’t dead, he was on stage. No, wait, not a stage -- an ice rink. And judging from the feminine clothes and shapely body inside them, he was clearly not in his own body anymore either. He tried to look on the bright side, at least he wasn’t dead! That’s when the music started and he noticed thousands of eyes staring at him. They were expecting a performance. Not really knowing what to do, Jim began to attempt a routine. It was clumsy at first, but it seemed this body had a high amount of muscle memory that was starting to take over!

If I Was a Rich Girl (Part 2)

Luke couldn’t contain his excitement as he let forth a squeal of delight. He couldn’t help but think the noise was odd -- then he realize that, of course, he now had Erin’s nasal voice. It was going to be one of the many things he’d have to get used to. Of course, with Erin’s near limitless funds at his disposal, he was sure he could get used to just about anything. He thought about what he wanted first and decided on a manicure and pedicure. He caught himself. He’d never gotten those things before in his life. But, he assumed, they were things Erin probably got quite regularly. Then the sinking reality set in -- there might be more to this swap than a simple switching of bodies. Was he going to become more and more like Erin? He shuddered at the thought.

Best Thing Ever

Nick was starting to think that using that magic spell to steal Shelby’s body was probably one of the best ideas he ever had. He had originally done it in an attempt to instill some confidence in her. He had always told her that she had a great body; she just seemed too afraid to show it off. But a strange thing happened to Nick as he paraded around in Shelby’s body while wearing skimpy clothes -- he started to enjoy it! The next thing he knew, he was no longer interested in boosting Shelby’s confidence. Instead, he was on the beach showing off her body. He could feel guy’s stares burning into him as they gawked with awe. He was enjoying the attention. He was originally planning to swap back with Shelby that night, but now he planned to keep her body for himself just a little while longer...

Tide (Part 2)

After several hours of waiting, Dexter figured the medallion just wouldn’t be floating back. With a rather melon collie look on his face, he began to resign himself to his new life. Though he quickly had to admit that he knew absolutely nothing about it. Who was this woman that he now was? Would there be any way for him to get information about who he was now? She had run off with his body, who knows where she might be now. And he was pretty sure that she was the only one that could answer many of his questions.

Transmission

The device was a little awkward for Laura to wear, but Frank insisted; he needed to know if it would work. She placed the device in the proper position and attached the wires, and Frank sat in a chair in the other room. As she yelled she had finished, he activated the device. Laura’s awareness faded away and it was now Frank in control of her body. The device was transmitting his thoughts from the other room and into Laura’s body. Meanwhile, any sensations she might feel were being sent back to Frank. The device was a flawless success. He spent several hours taking notes about the experience, noting a few bugs as well. It was only a matter of time before he figured out a way to get the device down to a more manageable size and limit the external wiring as well. Right now, the device was simply a little too cumbersome on the host’s body. If he could trim it down, well, then he could really have some fun!

Washed Away

Faint in the distance, Anthony could see his house. It had been on the shore before the hurricane, but the storm ended up washing it out to sea. He had scheduled a salvage vessel in order to obtain some of the more valuable items inside, perhaps the most precious of all being the famed Medallion of Zulu, which he had used shortly before the storm to swap bodies with his friend Carly. With the salvage vessel not scheduled to bring him out for another week, he’d be stuck in Carly’s body in the meantime. He just hoped the medallion will be okay once he finally able to get to it!

Hidden Talent

In the days following the Great Shift, Eugene assumed his life was over. After all, he certainly couldn’t continue his football career with the body the Shift had given him. He was now a skinny white woman who weighed about 100 pounds at most. After the weeks of depression passed, he started to consider other options. Early on in his football career, his coach had forced him to take a few ballet classes to learn some grace on the field. He hadn’t thought too much about it, but he soon discovered that his new body was practically a natural. It wasn’t long before he was able to transition his talents into the field of dance and he quickly became one of the greatest ballet dancers in the world. It was never a move he would’ve ever expected, but he also realized he had never been happier.

Escape Plan

It had two long years since Doug had been ambushed by two men while on vacation and dragged into a vacant building. He was blindfolded, but he could feel the men strap him into something right before he was hit with a jolt of electricity. He awoke several hours later, still tied up, but he could still feel the difference in his body -- it was no longer his own, but a gorgeous woman’s instead. The men returned to explain the situation. Doug would be working for them now. If he worked hard enough, he might earn the ability to be swapped into a male body or even enough to be let go. Doug protested at first, but he soon realized he had no choice. He did whatever they requested and he did it with a smile, but nothing ever seemed to get him any closer to being swapped out of this body. It was on that two year anniversary when the men requested he be a flight attendant for one of their clients on a private jet. Doug realized the opportunity. When it landed, he could make a break for it. He’d be stuck in this body, but he would no longer be bound to those men. He gave the client an extra big smile as he formulated the escape plan in his mind.
