Ruined

The ruins in discovered in the center of the city had been quite a surprise and soon became a popular destination for researchers and tourists alike. It was astonishing how a large find could go undiscovered for so long. Matthew had gone down to the ruins with a tour group. A strange blue light surrounded them as they entered a room. When they exited, Matthew felt different. When he looked down, he discovered he swapped bodies with another person on the tour -- an absolutely gorgeous woman in tight pants and high heels. He wanted to say something, but no one else seemed to be questioning what had happened. Even his own body was acting normal. Was he the only one who was even aware that anything had happened. He sat just outside the ruins as the rest of the group went on. This was a lot to wrap his head around. Would he even be able to explain to anyone what had happened? Would it happen again if he went back in?

Helping Out

James thought he was simply doing his girlfriend, Amy, a favor. She had gotten in trouble at school, and he had used a spell that would temporarily allow him to possess her mom’s body for the parent-teacher conference. He smiled as the teacher explained the extent of Amy’s misbehavior, and he said he’d deal with her at home. Of course, this was all just to prevent Amy’s mom from finding out what happened. James smiled even bigger as he thought about how smart his plan had been. There was only one problem, after several hours, he had failed to return to his own body. He wondered if he had messed up the possession somehow. He decided it would be a bad idea to tell Amy. She might be upset that he possessed her mom -- even if was to keep her from getting in trouble. He was still stuck the next morning. He was really worried by this point, but he continued to pretend to be Amy’s mom as he dropped her off at school. But when he was there, he caught sight of his own body. He was puzzled. He was possessing Amy’s mom; who the heck was controlling his body?

Life's a Beach

Ed didn’t question the woman running by him in a bikini on the beach. At least a dozen other had done so earlier in the day. But then he was lifted to his feet and handcuffed by a cop a few minutes later. He tried to question, but with the first few words out of his mouth, he noticed something wrong with his voice. He looked down and saw a familiar pink bikini. Then he looked over and saw his own body lying on the beach where he had just been.

He tried to explain to the officer, “I know it sounds crazy, but I’m not who you think I am. This...isn’t my body.”

The cop just shook his head. And Ed did know he sounded crazy. Whatever crime this woman had committed, he was going to go down for it. There was no way he was going to be able to say she had swapped bodies with him to set him up. It just seemed way too impossible to even believe!

Later

Luke knew he should probably feel bad about what he did to his brother Will. When his wife Alana had divorced him, Luke had used an experimental device to transform Will into her exact double. But that wasn’t the part that was really nagging him. It was the mental change she had made to his brother with the device. He had outlined personality traits he wanted in a perfect wife, and Will’s mind had been transformed as well. This was bothering Luke one day as Will walked down the stairs.

“I am ready for the party tonight? How do I look?” Will asked, “I can’t wait for some fun after the party either!”

Luke’s jaw nearly dropped, forgetting his concerns. Alana never would’ve worn something so sexy and revealing. They kissed, and Luke got instantly excited for later.

Then Will whispered in Luke’s ear, “But, first, Bro, let me down a couple brews. I’m totally pre-gaming.” Then he grabbed a beer and chips, sat wide-legged on the couch and started watching some TV.

This was always the awkward parts for Luke, when elements of Will still showed up. When he still acting like a dude no matter what else was going on. He began to get a little worried about ‘later.’

Fascinated

Jack realized he probably should’ve been concerned with who he was now or why it had happened. However, all he could do was stare in a mirror and look at his new reflection. He had been doing so now for several hours. His skin was smooth; the face looking back at him was downright beautiful. He didn’t quite care how this had happened. He was just fascinated that it did!

Claim

When the Great Shift swapped him into his sister’s body, Brandon couldn’t really say no to her request to dress each day to her explicit direction. After all, he still considered it her body; he was just borrowing it until somebody came up with a way to reverse the Shift’s effects. It wasn’t so bad at first, but each day she asked him to wear more and more feminine things. By the end of the week, she found himself in short skirts, lace, and even all sorts of flowery accessories. He decided to tell her that enough was enough. It was starting to seem more likely that this swap wasn’t going to be temporary, and he’d have to start claiming this body as his own.

Tech (Part 2)

Harvey began to grow impatient. She said fifteen minutes, right? It had to be at least half an hour since she called at this point. He couldn’t imagine what would be keeping her. He considered the idea of her wanting to steal his body quite impossible. Why would she want to be a forty year old, overweight, truck driver? He couldn’t imagine anyone else would be happy with his body. Heck, the only reason he wanted it back was because it was his and what he was used to. He couldn’t begin to imagine getting used to the skinny, feminine body he was currently in. But what if he had to? What if she didn’t come to switch them back? What if something had happened to her on the way to fix this? What if she had died? Would that mean he was stuck like this? His mind started to race as another fifteen minuted passed. She still hadn’t shown up.

Finally, a man exited the building and turned to look in Harvey’s direction. “Are you done your smoke break yet, Sue?” He asked.

Harvey nervous nodded and followed the man back into the building. Maybe there were answers in there. She did say this was caused by a device created by her company, right?
