Andre did a few more sessions on his own before Dr. Wong finally returned one day. She stopped him before he started hitting up some of the equipment and stood him in front of a mirror. As he stared at his body, she started talking about how this was who he was now...

“I know,” Andre replied, “It’s just going to be hard to tell my friends and family.”

Dr. Wong sighed, “That’s the problem, Andre. You won’t be able to. This procedure was experimental and secret. You aren’t going to be able to tell anyone about it, not even your family. This woman you are now, this is your body. This is your life. Your physical therapy is done, but over the next few days, we need to teach you about your new life, about who you are now. Then you will finally be able to leave...if you want to.”
