Up the Mountain

“We know that thing that swapped our bodies is somewhere up in the mountain. I’m going to go up there, catch it, and force it to swap us back to normal,” Jack declared. He certainly didn’t want to. He didn’t want to put himself (and Emi’s body) at risk. But he had the training (even if he was worried Emi’s body didn’t have the stamina).

“I’m coming too!” Emi tried to pipe in.

Jack shook his head, “No, I can’t risk you. You’ll be fine. I have savings set up under my name.If I don’t come back, you can survive as me. You’ll be able to cope.”

“And you can survive just fine as me! You don’t need to chase after this thing!”

Jack thought about it, but he didn’t want to be stuck as a woman for the rest of his life. He knew he could do this...
