With Annette nowhere to be found, Connor decided to explore the purse’s contents. He expected something magical or fantastic. But instead, it was mostly just stuff for primping. He pulled out a comb, a mirror, and makeup. He inspected each element, but it all looked like pretty normal stuff. Then he found a wallet in there, but looking at the ID inside, it wasn’t Annette’s.
