It had been about a year since the Great Shift and at least a few months since she last checked in on her former body, but Erica was at least curious. The drive out to Kirk’s place was long, and it reminded her why she didn’t do this very often anymore.
He was waiting for her, sitting on the porch. She attempted to make a visual assessment, but wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. He still held himself like a dude, and he had put on a few pounds. She knew bringing up either of those things aloud would get an earfull. But he had also dyed his hair blonde and was definitely wearing makeup to -- both seemed out of character for Kirk -- and both of these she felt like she could ask about.
When she did, he ranted about hormones for a few minutes before confessing he had a boyfriend now. Erica actually felt somewhat happy for him, and decided to ask all about the guy.
