Joel found his way to a mirror, his brain still reeling with the intense pressure of what had just happened and his arms and legs still sore for some reason. His own body was no longer staring back. Instead, there was a woman reflected. She was plain and unremarkable. This was his body now somehow.
It was fine. He knew the swap would be somewhat random, and he knew it could have gone much worse. And he was sure who’ve this was probably wanted their body back.He snapped a photo and sent it to himself, along with his planned ransom note.
He expected a response quickly, that whoever he swapped with would want their body back. But no response ever came. It seems the woman he swapped with was perfectly fine with how things had turned out...
