Two days ago, Ethan had woken up to the sounds of screams outside, but today it was eerily quiet. It seemed almost impossible for the world to adjust this quickly to the massive body swapping event that was being called “The Great Shift.” And yet, that seemed to be exactly what was happening. What choice did people have, after all?
Because, after all, Ethan had adjusted as much as anyone after his initial panic. He had shouted about not wanting to be a woman and freaking out the entire first day. But today, he woke up, showered, got dressed in some Lulelemon-type outfit from this woman’s closet, and starte on his day as if it was all completely normal and routine for him now.
Sure, there was still plenty of drama among celebrities and politicians and whatnot. But for the average person? Well, life just went on...
