The time machine that Jin had created was a technological marvel. It worked by teleporting his mind back into a body in the past. He had carefully selected the late twentieth century, yet he was still surprised to end up as a blonde European woman.
Despite the successful trip to the past, he couldn’t celebrate just yet. He still needed to get back to the present. Of course, his own time machine wouldn’t be created for another hundred years, but his selection of time periods was intentional. He had everything he needed to recreate his device in this time.
He was worried about how long it was taking. He had spent over a month in this woman’s body now -- though he did keep telling himself that how long it took really didn’t matter. And then there was the worry of leaving the device behind. Should he implement some sort of automatic self-destruct?
