Bumped

Noah had been minding his own business walking down the street when a woman passing by bumped right into him. He stumbled for a moment before trying to continue on his way. But the stumbling didn’t stop. He felt awkward on his feet and his whole body felt off.

A moment later, he looked down at his hands to see darker skin with painted nails. Those certainly weren’t his hands. He then looked down at his feet -- considering the heels, it made sense he was having trouble walking. Somehow he had swapped bodies with the woman he had bumped into. There was certainly no way he could run after her wearing these things on his feet.

He tried propping himself up on a wall for better balance and to examine the footwear. And as difficult as it was to walk in these shoes, it was equally confounding how to get them off. Was there some sort of buckle? Or latch? Could these string like things on them be untied? The only thing he was sure of at this point was that women’s shoes can be very confusing...
