Doug and Su Ji tried numerous times to use the machine to swap back on their own to no avail. Unless they could find the crazy mad scientist to swap their bodies back, they were stuck.
Doug continued to perform as Su Ji, modifying the concert format to fit with the fact that he knew the songs but couldn’t master the choreography, turning the concers into a more free-form dance party. Meanwhile, Su Ji would spend the days in Doug’s body trying to track down the mad scientist who swapped their bodies.
It wasn’t long before their attitudes about the swap had shifted. It was Doug who was no longer worried about being swapped, enjoying every minute of performing live. Meanwhile, Su Ji was just bored every day. Researching something that seemed to be nothing but dead-ends was just made for a tiring grind day after day.
