“What kind of tattoo are you getting today?” Seth asked the woman who had come into his shop.
“I don’t know,” The woman replied, “Just give me one. Anything. I don’t really want one.”
“Uh...well, I mean, people who come into tattoo parlors generally do so because they WANT tattoos. Besides, you already have some really nice ones there.”
“They aren’t mine.”
Seth could only respond by looking at the woman in complete confusion.
“This whole body isn’t mine,” The woman continued, “It belongs to my friend, Carla. They’re hers. I’m actually a pretty clean cut guy, but her body has what’s like this almost weird compulsion to get more. I guess I got it along with her body when we swapped. I’ve already gotten two, and they hurt SO MUCH. I can’t believe I want to keep getting more.”
Seth didn’t usually turn people down, but as this woman sat down in his chair and explained her story, he was sure she was just crazy, and he couldn’t ink her up in good conscience. Swapping bodies? Come on, no sane person believes that can happen in real life...
