After months of work, Conrad was certainly proud of his achievement. He had developed a machine that allowed him to change his form. Tonight was just a test: Turning himself into a woman for Ladies Night at the bar just to get cheaper drinks. Sure, it was a silly test for a sillier reason, but it did prove one simple fact: The test worked.
Perhaps for future tests, he could make underclassmen appear older in order to sneak into bars. He did know this was an equally frivolous application of his invention, but he wanted to get these types of meaningless tests out of the way early before he tried something that truly mattered. He imagined using it to replace failing organs or to help trans people get the bodies they’ve always wanted. He could help amputees and maybe even put cancer patients into identical cancer-free bodies. But with all that foresight still ahead of him, tonight was still all about this silly test.
He picked a form he’d personally be attracted to: Cute yet nerdy, Asian, and he was even able to make his device give him an outfit. He snapped a selfie for proof, then he was off.
