“You screwed up,” Ms. Frish said from inside Kenji’s body.
“My job is to protect this company’s secrets and technology; both of those are secure.” Kenji assured her before adding, “But I am not your personal bodyguard.”
“Technically, you are now, because of whatever they did.”
Kenji sighed. Being in the body of a middle aged woman was not exactly how he wanted any of this to end up; however, he saw a strategic advantage to this.
“And they’ll be after you next. The team’s failure means you’re their next target. They know the tech is too secure now, but you created a lot of it. If they can get the information directly from you...they’ll try. But, of course, I’ll be the one waiting for them in your body.”
“What about me?”
“If they know of the swap? It’s a small risk, but my body is a weapon. I’ll teach you some basic moves. These bastards are going down.”
