“I don’t understand. It shouldn’t have -- this shouldn’t have happened. It wasn’t even ready; it wasn’t even close to ready. The power wasn’t even attached, and yet it turned on and activated.” Marvin was absolutely confounded. He was working on a body swapping device, but he wasn’t even close to the testing stages, and yet he was now somehow in Sarah’s body. He continued to apologize and explain, “It shouldn’t even work unless two people put these things on their heads. And yet...here we are...in each other’s bodies.”
It was weird for Sarah to see Marvin in her body. It was probably even weirder for her to be in his body. But she was trying not to panic, but at the same time, if his weird invention had swapped them in a way other than intended... “What if it’s not just us?” She asked.
“What do you mean?” He replied.
“Well, if we were supposed to wear those things on our head, but it swapped us even without them, couldn’t it have swapped more people? Besides us?”
Marvin hadn’t considered the possibility, but now he was very, very worried about it.
