Gideon barely thought about his next move. He grabbed the staff from Gwyn and snapped it into pieces. There was no way he was going to let the princess take Gwyn’s body.
The next thing he felt was a fist on the side of his face. It hurt, but he was at least glad she hadn’t pulled out his sword.
All the commotion caused the goblin guards to return. From their perspective, this man had just assaulted their princess. She tried commanding them to stop, but they didn’t realize it was their princess inside Gideon’s body.
Then they looked to Gideon inside the body of the princess for guidance. He didn’t know what to tell them.
It was Gwyn who finally came up with an excuse. “Your princess is needed on, uh, a diplomatic mission that’s, uh, top secret.” She explained.
Gideon nodded and then the other goblins did the same. Goblins really were stupid.
