One Year Later...

Mihn was nervous as she approached the house. It had been a year since the Great Shift, and she had to hire a private investigator to find her original body. Emails and calls were ignored, so the in-person approach was her last resort.

She wasn’t sure what she was going to say, even as she got closer and spotted a man working in the yard.

“Excuse me,” She asked, “Is the owner home?”

“That’s me.” The man said.

Mihn was about to ask if anyone else lived there until she examined the man closer. It was the faint outline of breasts that gave away that this wasn’t a man at all. With short hair and no makeup or any attempt to look feminine at all, her original body was practically unrecognizable. She assumed he had been a man before the Shift, and she didn’t know if he had a hard time adapting to being in her body or what, but she somehow felt he might not want to talk with her about it. Still, it was good to see her former self, even if she had barely recognized it.

As Mihn was lost in thought, the man in her body grew impatient. “Can I help you with anything?” He asked.

“Um...Just asking if you might be interested in solar panels for your roof!” Mihn said making up a lie on the spot.

“No, I think I’m all set.”
